Cardiff is a great city and the Town House is a great place to base yourself. It is a beautiful house which is a fifteen minute walk from the city centre. rooms are pleasant and functional. It is a very quiet location.the Hotel itself is beautiful with a high quality refurb to the entrance, hall way and front room. The... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. We had room 9 and it its very spacious and clean. Beds were comfy and soft. Shower was very temperamental and ended up having cold/Luke warm showers. Breakfast filled a hole. Bus stop few feet away from bnb into the town or about 15-20 min walk. Overall good for the price. Would stay again.

We stayed here whilst visiting our son and going to watch the rugby - it is in a great location being only a few minutes walk from the centre of Cardiff and the Millennium Stadium. A great B&B with a very good pub almost next door. It was very friendly and has off road parking which is good in Cardiff.... More

I stayed in room 5 which was without doubt the worst room I've ever stayed in,although warned of the low ceiling and doors I did not expect it to be that bad,you could not stand in the bathroom at all,the bath seemed to have remnants of old rubber matting stuck to the bottom, wooly blankets instead of a quilt, something I haven't... We stayed at the Town House guest house for 3 nights in mid May. We were met by our host Charles and were made to feel very welcome, On being shown to our room we found it to be spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. Although our room overlooked Cathedral Road, one of the main roads into Cardiff city centre, there... More

I couldn't have asked for more. Have been staying here for the past month on and off doing academic work at the University. Lovely quiet room, excellent breakfasts and perfect, central location. My thanks to hosts Paula and Charles for looking after me so well and to Sue, Gemma and Stacey too. Will definitely book again on next visit to... More

Charles was a great host! The room was neat and tidy and the breakfast was impeccable! It's not too far from the town at all and is well connected by a bus stand just two houses away in case you need to use it. The very large and green Bute Park is just behind this road and is a great... More

Stayed two nights here, no complaints! Our flight into London was four hours late, and they waited up for us with no complaints, as we arrived by train into Cardiff hours after they wanted us there. All it took was a call to inform them. The atmosphere of the house is very comfortable. The breakfast is awesome, pretty much whatever... More

If you need a friendly and helpful welcome, a comfortable bed for the night and a quality breakfast - all for a very reasonable price - this is the place to go. I've stayed on numerous occasions on work trips to Cardiff and can't fault it.

This area is very convenient for the centre of Cardiff, just a short walk through Sofia Gardens. The room was a good size, a double, with all of the facilities you could need - tea and coffee, tv with freeview, a hairdryer and a good shower. The room was clean and tidy but if you want super chic and modern... More
