Second time I've stayed in this lovely, peaceful hotel. I will be coming back for another stay! Brought my mother with me this time, she loved the hotel too. Cardiff! What a lovely city and Lincoln House Hotel is a wonderfully welcoming place to stay in Cardiff. Outstanding breakfast, I ate too much. Beautiful decour throughout. Amazing kingsize bed in... More

We stayed for one night last weekend and enjoyed a large spacious room with sitting area on the ground floor. The room was well-decorated and lovely and warm (it was freezing outside!) Service was very friendly and the breakfast was extremely good, with a very wide range of options (better than many large hotels we have stayed in.) We arrived... More

We stayed here for a weekend in January 2015 after seeing it on Tripadvisor. We chose a "Superking Room" which was Room 101. It was situated on the ground floor on the side of the hotel overlooking the car park. The room was a generous size with a large comfortable bed with lots of storage space. The bathroom was well... We stayed for 1 night, as a couple, just after New Year to enjoy a quick weekend in Cardiff before returning to work. We came to Cardiff primarily to visit the Doctor Who experience (also great!) and the Lincoln House was a great base. We arrived a little early to check in and were allowed straight into our room. All... More

My elderly parents stayed here over Xmas whilst they were visiting us. They have restricted mobility and so had a room on the ground floor. Whilst it's not "luxury" it's perfectly nice - and there were some nice touches such as sherry in the Victorian lounge. All in all a nice place to stay

If you like character and class, this is the hotel for you! Recommend paying a little extra for the four poster rooms in the front, they really are fabulous. Staff are on hand and very friendly, and the breakfast is to die for. Well recommended.

A beautiful restored hotel with old world charm, clean and inviting. The staff were so helpful and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was wonderful with many choices. I really enjoyed the Welsh Cakes and tried the Lava Bread. The young lady attending the breakfast room was so friendly and obliging! A great welcome to Wales, thank you all!

What a wonderful little hotel! The hosts are wonderful. Breakfast is plentiful and tasty. Beautiful premises not far from town. Tea and coffee in the rooms is a nice touch. Parking out the back and good wifi connection. Highly recommend! Will return!

This hotel is just what people have said-a very good hotel ideally situated near the city centre. We usually stay with relatives so this was our first experience of staying in a hotel in Cardiff and although this hotel isn't boutique or particularly glamorous it does what it should and offers really good accommodation, a great breakfast and good service....
