Stayed here on spec for a school re-union held nearby. Rooms large, clean and comfy. Excellent en-suite facilities. Generous and tasty breakfast. Very friendly staff. Very close to city centre and Millenium stadium and only 1 minute from huge riverside park. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed one night, and must admit did not know what to expect, we had looked at some of the budget hotels, but Saturday night in Cardiff and not many deals around. The hotel is not that far from the city centre, and if the weather is good a very pleasant walk along the river, we came to Cardiff by train,... More

Booked a night in Cardiff for a girls night out. After much deliberation on hotel choices we went for the Lincoln. Very glad we did, was a really lovely place. On a busy road but noise level not too bad. Parking on road if you cant get in the car park at rear of hotel. Spotless throughout, room spacious warm... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this small 3 * hotel in Cardiff. The reception staff were really helpful and the room was a good size and very comfortable. The hotel is on a wide treelined avenue adjacent to Sophia Gardens. The road is quite busy with traffic but we were able to park in the hotel's own carpark and as... More

This was my third stay at this hotel and as before, I enjoyed the experience. Normally, I am with my husband, but this time I stayed alone. I had a lovely room - double bed - and felt very safe there as it was located just past the reception desk. The bed was comfortable, there was a good sized flat... More

Hotel was quiet on a Sunday night but service was thoughtful and attentive. Room pleasant and well equipped, although bathroom on the small side. Location pleasant and convenient. Breakfast offered a wide choice and was freshly prepared. Recommended for overnight or longer stays.

This is our "home" in Cardiff. All the staff are delightful and it is very much family-run with those family members much in evidence during the day. The rooms are very comfortable, the breakfast is outstanding, there is a pleasant bar and a guest's lounge, which we never seem to have time to browse around properly. It is delightfully situated,... It's a B & B but with 23 rooms. A street of grand handsome large residences, some of which are being used commercially - still a residential neighborhood half a block from the huge Bute Park. Ten minute walk down the street or through the park along the small river to central Cartiff with its marvelous castle and large ped... More

We have stayed at several #1 hotels on TA. Never been disappointed until this one, and it was OK, but nothing special. It's in a lovely leafy street, great location, with a 15-20 minute walk to the centre of town via Bute Park, which is gorgeous. Hotel itself is a superb period residence on the outside, but inside, the carpets... More

My friend and I recently stayed here for 2 nights. Turns out our room was up several flights, 38 steps I counted. Fortunately someone carried our bags to the room. The room was small, clean, twin beds facing the front street. There was no A/C and it was warm in Cardiff, so that was a slight problem. They did have... More
