If you are looking for a boutique hotel in walking distance to Cardiff city centre but away from the maddening crowds then Lincoln House is highly recommended. We booked the Apartment for three days and had a really relaxing time. Slept well. Enjoyed hearty Welsh breakfasts and even a few G&Ts in the hotel bar. The Lincoln House Hotel is... More

The house was nice and quaint and the location quiet but still close to the city centre. The rooms were comfortable (espescially the larger double room) and the breakfast selection great! Friendly and helpfull staff.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Well appointed and maintained. Plenty of off street parking. Well prepared breakfasts. The staff was very pleasant, attentive and accommodating. The room was sufficient (King room) and quite comfortable. One of our best stays in the UK.

We had done a lot of research on where to stay in Cardiff, and can honestly say that we believe that we picked the right spot. Easy to find, in a great location, and so beautifully presented. We had originally booked for what was the smallest room in the house, but they had a cancellation and we paid an extra... More

A wonderful hotel, and probably all you need to know is that they have proper China tea cups in the bedrooms and at the breakfast table. Clean, slightly chintzy in its styling, quality bedding, quiet. Friendly reception staff. The breakfast was so impressive. The array of colours and shapes from the fresh fruits on offer, along with the selection of... More

The hotel has plenty of character, in a good state of repair, clean, the staff were absolutely excellent, the parking was sufficient during our stay and the breakfast was particularly good. I could not fault the hotel in anyway and I would not hesitate to book again.

Wanted to stay on Cathedral Road and so this came up on Trip Advisor and proved to be a very good choice. Had a large room on the ground floor which suited all our needs. Breakfasts were very good- absolutely masses of choice and had the opportunity of trying the Laverbread, which I really enjoyed. Found all the staff to... More

We enjoyed our two day stay at this slightly quirky bed & breakfast hotel which combines old-fashioned and modern elements. The building dates from 1900 and retains many original features. Our bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean, our only complaint being that the bed was too narrow and springy for our liking. The breakfasts are exceptionally good and served by... More

Overall a brilliant and comfy stay, not to far from the town & situated near the park. I was pleased with the price & the warm welcome from the hotel managers and colleagues < also very polite. Needed an extra fan because of really hot weather & was able to get one straight away, also liked the fact the bedrooms... More
