I agree wholeheartedly with the previous reviewer, Brian T Snail. If you take pleasure in a noisy environment and don't mind creaking stairs, stuffy, dirty rooms with peeling wallpaper, stained tread-worn carpets, lumpy old mattresses, dusty surfaces, filthy curtains and windowsills (full of cigarette butts in a non-smoking establishment), smelly drainpipes and a constant traffic din, then you will love... more

Stayed here for 2 nights in July. We had a room at the front of the hotel facing on to the main street. My husband and I were with a coach party for the rugby league weekend.
