Friendly staff, very good room. TV in the bath was a gimmick which didn't work but not a show stopper, breakfasts excellent, didn't have any other meals but judging how busy it was they must be good! Central heating a little tempramental, but portable electric heater provided was good.

This place is great, have visited here a couple of times and have had great nights on both occasions. The food is very good - I would recommend the beef burger and mushroom starter. The service is always very good too. Great place to visit with friends.

Visited with fellow school staff for a colleagues leaving do. Mussels were nice and big and followed up by a real tasty burger. Quality chips too which were the best I have tasted in a long time.Great way to end the term.

We stayed here recently for two nights whilst visitng family, I wanted a good bed instead of an air bed at my husbands brothers and thats what I got! I did think it was a little soft at first but actually I had two great nights sleep and the hotel rooms are much farther from the road than they look... More

I went for Sunday lunch with my family. Keeping it brief, the place is lovely, the waiting staff are very attentive and nice and the food was good. The only real issue was that there were only 2 roast potatoes on our plates. I felt this was a little light on tatties. We pleasantly enquired as to whether we could... More

First comment - everyone else in our party had good food that they all enjoyed with good size portions. I ordered a main course salad - but was served little more than a starter size bowl of green leaves with a sparse scattering of walnut pieces, less cheese than my wife had on her burger, and a tiny drizzle of... I stayed recently whilst on business in South Wales. I fancied a change from the large chain hotels and I am so glad I did. My room was modern, clean and very nice. Parking is free for residents and behind the hotel. food was gorgeous and very reasonable along with the bar prices. Great evening atmosphere too...... I will defiantly... More

Relaxing atmosphere with log fire, friendly staff, good service. Good pub food with interesting specials - we chose wild boar and chorizo burger and beer battered fish and twice cooked chips. Desserts also fine - apple crumble and sherry trifle (though not a lot of sherry present). Well kept Brain's Bitter made for a good lunch. Fair prices. No complaints.

Very tasty food in lovely surroundings! Excellent waitress service- would highly recommend for Sunday lunch although they have a wide range of food available. Easily accessible car park although the downside is you have to pay to park.
