The staff was friendly, the rooms clean and spacious, the bed was kingsize and everything was very affordable. Ok, the building is a concrete block without a view, but it lies within walking distance of Cardiff Castle. All in all good value for your money.

We stayed here while going to opera at Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff Bay. It's just opposite Queen Street Station where the shuttle train goes to Cardiff Bay every 12 minutes, so we were back in our room 15 minutes after leaving the theatre! Slightly away from the main street but walkable. Mall with eateries was nearby. We were happy with our 2-bedded room, large and sunny, facing the street. Good water flow for bath and shower. The hotel was in a great location for Cardiff sightseeing, clean, quiet, spacious. Staff was helpful. Price was right. Seemed to be very popular with large family groups, and a good place for them. If you're not a big breakfast eater, skip it here; it's pricey unless you want a big meal.

I have stayed in this premier inn before and chose it for the second time as it is just fantastic!
