Massive thankyou to Christine and Paula! They are very welcoming and couldn't be any more helpful and friendly! We were right by the centre! Recommended hotel! Brilliant weekend spent here! Already planning our return!

I stayed at the St Hillary hotel for my 21st birthday, with a rather large group of girls! I can't express enough how good of a weekend this was! A lot of credit has to be given to the hotel, especially to Paula and Christine working that weekend! Nothing was too much hassle for the both of them! Paula was... More

If i could of given 0 stars; i would have. Our visit started off fine. We were welcomed by a woman who at first seemed very nice; but as we soon found out was horrible. The minute we took a step into our room, was the minute the nightmare began. The room was unclean and run-down. The amount of dust... More

Located 15min walk from city centre, the staff was really friendly and welcoming. I had an enjoyable one night stay in this Hotel; The room where I did stay was comfortable but could be bigger; breakfast included and made by staff once you arrive in the dining room.

I stayed here for one night at a weekend. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Room was really spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Breafast was included in the price; however I didn't wake up in time to have it. I would stay here again when visiting Cardiff if they had availablity.

The room was fine, although the bed wasn't the comfiest, except for a buzzing coming from the mirror/shaving plug. If you're a heavy sleeper you wont notice it but it is disruptive if you have difficulty sleeping anyway. The staff were friendly though and it isn't too far from the centre if you want the museum side.

Stayed one night in family room. Hotel is located 15 mins walk from city centre amongst many other B and B's Staff friendly, rooms generally clean with some dubious DIY. Ensuite consisted of a shower in one cupboard, a toilet in a small cupboard opposite and a wash basin in the centre of the room. Bed comfortable, bedding clean, breakfast... More

It was getting late in the evening and accommodation was scarce, we were tired and as the No Vacancy sign had not gone up we took a room at the hotel. Although adequate for a quick stop, clean and basic, the charm has really faded. . However I think the 4 poster selling point has lost it's romanticism. In fact... More

Bit of confusion as to which building I was staying in but a minor point. I booked & paid for a single room with shared bathroom, but got a double one with an ensuite - result! Room was small but comfy, spotlessly clean & perfectly adequate. Breakfast was very nice & plenty of coffee. The staff were lovely & I... More

If you value your personal safety do not stay in this hotel. A fire alarm went off for half an hour at 2am and then there was no electricity for a time and my shower did not function until I went to ask about it. When at the end of my stay I politely remarked that my it hadn't been... More
