The apartments are clean and roomy . We only had 2 wine glasses but apart from that faultless . We wanted to pay cash which they don't except . Cards only . Walking distant to Cardiff . Problem with parking if you have more than one car and haven't booked for extras .

We arrived to find that in the living area 14 out of 21 lights were not working (the acityabode person said that they could be fixed the next day but there was so much wrong we didn't need workmen or cleaners in the apartment for the whole of our stay), the freezer section of fridge/freezer was dirty as was the... We have used A City Abode to stay in Cardiff many times during the last 5 years. We won't be doing so again. Customer service has deteriorated. The flat was tired and grubby. Our shoes stuck to the kitchen floor. One toilet didn't work at all and obviously hadn't worked for some time. The shower wasn't draining properly due to... More

Have stayed here on a few occasions in the past 4 year and things were always great. However, things have clearly gone seriously downhill. Although the location is great for The Bay or Town we are very unlikely to return. As soon as we entered the apartment it smelt horrible and despite having to sign a document to confirm we... More

The catalogue of things wrong with our apartment is too long to convey here. Un-cleaned, un-checked and poorly maintained. Little or no response to complaints either during our stay or afterwards. We will NEVER book with these people again and would advise others not to take the risk. We spent £427 very badly indeed on a 3 night stay and... More

For ease, I have copied the email I sent to acityabode upon returning home. An email which after 48 hours has still not been acknowledged by the incompetent staff that 'work' there. To whom it may concern, I stayed at one of your apartments in Century Wharf between 18th - 20th October and wanted to express my dissatisfaction at the... More

I got lost on my way the Cardiff Central - the Manager came out in her car to collect and take me to the apartments - great service. The apartment was generally grubby, carpets stained and the kitchen was dirty. There were no toilet rolls, no clothes hangers, no tea towel, Shower head bracket loose so would not stay up,... More

I tried these apartments a few times as I'm working in Cardiff on business, however I've now given up and moved to an alternative due to the lack of cleaning and house keeping. The fridges smell of stale milk, the carpets are stained, the walls are scuffed and on one occasion I was given an apartment that still had the... More

Stayed here a few times now (family in Cardiff). Each time you are met at the gate by friendly staff and shown your apartment. Has everything you'd need (cutlery, crockery, towels, tea bags & coffee). Very well presented and clean. Lovely secure area located a couple of mins from the Bay. Only place I will ever at when visiting Cardiff.... More

A good location in a gated community. The Bay is within a good walking distance. Quiet apartment and good sized living space. The check in was good with Jon showing us our car parking and into the apartment. But apartment needs maintenance and a serious clean. Only 1 of 4 bulbs working in bedroom, all other rooms had blown bulbs... More
