Very friendly and helpful staff at this hotel. Lots of free parking next to the hotel and a great choice of places to eat within a couple of minutes walk. Very clean and comfortable and not bad value.

Not the easiest of hotels to find but ideally located if you want to explore Cardiff Bay. Useful free (validated) parking at the Red Dragon Centre. Very small dining room/bar area. Extremely expensive breakfast especially when other much cheaper options are available close by. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was adequate but for some unknown reason the beds were... More

Hotel is in a good location, very close to the restaurants at Cardiff Bay, and a short walk to the city centre. Room was very comfortable but let down by only 30 mins free wifi. 24 hour bar available, and restaurant/cafe looked good.

We recently stayed overnight whilst attending a 'Wedding Party' at St David's Hotel Cardiff Bay. The room was very basic, but clean and tidy. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Plenty of choice for breakfast was. Great value for money. The hotel is a 'stones throw' away from all the attractions on Cardiff Bay, which is excellent if you are not... More

Booked a twin room, the single beds were very small, but comfortable. Basic hotel, but for the price we paid it was well worth it. Short walk to the bay, and bus stop close by for those wanting to go into Cardiff City. Buses run every 10 mins

We arrived mid afternoon and check in was very quick and smooth. We had a corner room on the top floor.I stayed with my husband and son. The room was large and spacious and we didn't feel crammed in. This hotel is ideal for exploring Cardiff, on foot round the bay, or you could catch numerous buses which stop just... More

This travelodge is superbly situated for visits to the bay (easy, short walk) and the city centre (bus stop right outside). The staff are very helpful, the restaurant is good and the rooms are of the usual, high travelodge standard. What more do you need?

Great room for the price! Triple rooms are ideal for groups that want to keep the cost down. We didn't feel like we had just been crammed into a cupboard! The room was clean, well maintained and had very comfortable beds. The restaurant was a great bonus, although they struggled with a lot of customers all needing/wanting to be seated... More

I stayed for one evening thankful I hadn't booked for 2 nights. The location is good (5 mins from Cardiff Bay) and the staff are friendly. However, I paid £92 plus £10 for an early check in plus £7.65 for breakfast. It was £164 at the St David's Hotel & Spa on Cardiff Bay itself and that included 2 breakfasts... More
