Steve the owner is friendly and helpful, and makes you feel at home. It is a very relaxed atmosphere at breakfast and we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to... More

We had a warm reception, Steve was very nice and made us feel at home. The room was clean and the bathroom also very good. The B&B is very close to the train station and a walking distance of the Castle.

What more could you want? Very pleasant accommodation, quiet area, sumptuous breakfast, central location. Steve is a very personable and helpful host. One can take a 5 minute easy walk into town to find a variety of restaurants. The train will take into Cardiff in 20 minutes.

I'm a hotel snob, I openly admit it and when my mum booked me a BnB I had no idea what to expect. Well I was not disappointed, lovely spacious rooms, plenty of hot water and delicious freshly prepared breakfast. Will definitely be staying here again when visiting.

Good spot and comfortable too. Off street parking for the nice B&B. Walking distance to town and the castle. Full breakfast options, plenty of 'fuel' for a day of walking in Wales. Good value for a stop over in Caerphilly.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ty Castell. Not only was the location so central to the castle and downtown, it was so easy to travel by train / bus to Cardiff that we gave up our rental car and used public transit instead. We found Steve to be an extremely warm and accomodating host. He is... More
