Overall, this hotel is a very nice place to stay, but it is a little overpriced. £130 for a 'special' wedding rate (normally £150) is, in my opinion, a litle excessive for what is on offer. That said, the room was clean and spacious, but there were no pictures on the walls which made it feel a little 'unfinished' Breakfast... more

We had our wedding reception at this hotel on the 13th September last year and the only reason I haven't logged on to give the hotel and all it's staff a glowing review before now is that I thought I already had done! Put simply, our wedding day could not have been more perfect - the food was excellent, the... more

We had our wedding ceremony & reception at the Coed y Mwstwr and from the start to finish it was excellent! (Bullon/Griffiths) We couldn't have asked for a better day. Every thing went very smoothly thanks to the professional and efficient staff. We were treated like royalty! The surroundings are beautiful, and the food was lovely. Thanks to all the... more

We have just had a day and night at this hotel as part of a wedding party (Cooper/McCormack) and have every intention of returning to explore the surrounding area. The hotel has 4 stars and, for once, is worthy of it. We had a standard room which the hotel put a z bed into to accomoadate our son. The room... more

I have stayed here several times for conferences. Staff are always very helpful. On my first visit I had arrived after a long drive and asked about the sauna and gym to loosen up. I was told that these were closed for the evening "but that was no problem - they would be opened up and everything switched on while... more

We had our wedding at Coed Y Mwstwr on the 3rd May and the day was superb. From the moment that we arrived where they greeted us with a glass of Prosecco and bottle of Peroni, they were then flexible when the photos ran over and delivered fantastic food for 90 people. A special thanks to Michelle, Jamie and Oliver... more

Just returned from a single night stay at this awesome hotel. We booked directly with the hotel for a dinner bed and breakfast package and upgraded to an executive suite. We just knew it was going to be top notch because we had reason to call them after making our booking and they were extremely helpful. It was easy to... more

Great room, great peace and quiet, wonderful staff, great rate. There were so few guests it was like having our own private mansion in the country. more

Had my wedding here on the 3rd of February, ceremony, reception, evening party and overnight accommodation. The whole of the day was faultless and everything was helped to run smoothly by the staff who were excellent. The food was lovely, piping hot and good sized portions and had numerous compliments off other people about it. The grounds of the hotel... more

We stayed here the w/e of the 28th/29th October.Generally, the hotel is exceptionally well run and we had a very enjoyable stay. Check in was efficient and welcoming and the room was of a good standard with a huge bed and well appointed bathroom. Breakfasts were very good with individual tastes catered for ( in our case with porridge and... more
