Stayed here for two nights over August Bank Holiday. Room was better than their website pictures. Clean and surprisingly bright. Clean en-suite. Breakfast was good if a little small and like others have posted queue for toaster annoying. Also breakfast is only a very small window of opportunity 8-9am. Not good if you have an early start as we did... more

We booked a month in advance and chose room 12 from the website description. The staff were friendly and helpful when taking our booking by phone and confirming via email. The guesthouse was easy to find and there is a large carpark at the back. Our check in was a bit hectic as there was also a large group staying... more

Staff extremely friendly, good location in town although main road out front is very noisy. Breakfast average, room was very basic and a little cold I found, could do with a facelift and had lots of dust, steer clear if you have allergies. more

Staff were pleasant while taking booking by phone and on arrival staff were welcoming and friendly. James was very polite while taking assisting with checkout while the other family members were cooking breakfasts. The room was adequate, with basic facilities. While I couldn't describe it as a crisp white room, the colour-coordinated decor was not overpowering. My room door had... more

With at least 14 rooms, this B&B is really more of a small hotel. The building is an old farmhouse located very close to the centre of Brecon with a large car park at the rear. We stayed in a family room on the second floor, which had one double and two single beds. The room itself was rather old-fashioned,... more

For the money (£57 a double room) and the three stars we'd expected somewhere nice. Unfortunately our room was unclean with mould in the shower, a thick layer of dust on all the surfaces and didn't look like it had seen a vacuum cleaner in a long while. Also the tea cups hadn't been washed since the last guest. Very... more

In relation to Travellerwalker2007: We would like to say that none of the mentioned comments were brought to our attention during their stay although they were seen by the staff at breakfast and during the day. We were only informed on departure when they requested a refund/discount which that particular member of staff was not authorised to do. With regard...

Nice place to stay - stands opposite Christ College boarding school grounds and is easy walking distance to town (city) centre (<5 mins). Charming family whose personalities made us feel welcome there (although we only had time to stay one night!). Felt well organised and you knew that if you needed anything extra, they would go the extra distance to... more
