I have been coming to the Old MiIl for some 25 years. It is an excellent place, always scrupulously clean and comfortable without any pretensions. Great breakfasts set me up brilliantly for a day of hill walking. Pam and Haydn give a warm welcome and a great feeling of home.

I am a support worker and have supported an adult with mild learning disabilities to the old mill for the second time. As always Pam & Haydon have made us both feel very welcome and always go the extra mile to ensure we have a lovely stay. I highly recommend this B&B having stayed there within my working role and... I found this Charming bed and breakfast through Equestrian Escapes. My friend and i booked a riding holiday and the owners Pam and Haydn couldnt do enough for us! Nothing was too much trouble! They gave us coffee and biscuits on arrival, excellent directions to the stables and they knew all the horses which was great. Breakfast was amazing with... More

A unique old mill with exposed beams, quiet and relaxing, with chickens, ducks, a couple of shetland ponies, guinea fowl... very decent single occupancy rates (a rarity!), and really warm, friendly, generous, unobtrusive hosts. Spotlessly clean and a very comfortable bed. There's nothing else I'd want from a B&B!

I had a wonderful time at the Old Mill. Pam and Haydn were so nice and helpful. The place is very relaxing, so quiet, and perfect to explore the area. Breakfast with fresh eggs from their hens was delicious. Thank you so much Pam and Haydn for allowing me to spend this amazing time in Wales! I will be back... More

Such a delightful place, we turned up on the off-chance looking for somewhere to sleep and found a wonderful warm welcome, real generosity of spirit and excellent value - it's honestly one of the best B&Bs I think I've ever been to. We really enjoyed our stay with Pam and Haydn and would love to return soon. :)

We were delighted with our choice of B&B. The Old Mill is really comfortable, the hosts are welcoming, warm and helpful. Great base for walking in both Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons. Thank you Pam and Haydn!

This is the most stunning B&B, run by the friendliest and most hospitable hosts I've ever met. I found The Old Mill through Equestrian Escapes, and Pam and Haydn were extremely accommodating in driving me up and down to the stables where I was riding every day, and also to the station at Abergavenny. Breakfast consisted of delicious, fresh and... More
