We are local to the area and heard great reviews about the cafe. Me and my partner went for an evening meal. Food was very tasty and fresh and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Small resturant but very welcoming. Really enjoyed the evening. Would definatley recommend.

We stayed at the Bridge Café in Brecon for three nights, to celebrate our third wedding anniversary (with mountain bikes; without the 18 month old). We were very fortunate to have found it at the last minute - and it was absolutely superb! The B&B is a period property, beautifully decorated, very well equipped, and within a stone's throw of... We loved our stay in John and Carol's Bed and Breakfast. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The food was good. The location is perfect for enjoying the Brecon Beacons and the town of Brecon. If you want an inexpensive stress free place to stay with expert local knowledge of the trails, look no further. The house itself is... More

My son and I stayed at Bridge Cafe for two nights whilst visiting my other son at scout summer camp in the area. This B&B is owned by the most friendly, thoughtful and accommodating hosts who were very helpful with advice on walking routes, possibility to borrow maps etc. Room was cosy, clean and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. We... More

Stayed there overnight with two friends while we cycled the Taff Trail and I must say the owners were very hospitable and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. They treat you like family and the building is clean, homely, and very nicely decorated. Breakfast in the morning was fresh, organic, and there was a... More

I just spent two nights at The Bridge Cafe with friends, we were walking/climbing Pen-y-fan. John's welcome was warm and friendly (my lot had stayed there before and were impressed, hence the revisit!}. My room didn't have an en suite but was very comfortable and the bathroom sharing just for this short time was no problem at all. The evening... More

Stayed here with my son on a cycle trip across Wales, and would highly recommend. A house full of character and charm, nice room, good night's sleep, good bathroom next door to room, excellent cooked breakfast with very high quality bacon, sausage, bread, coffee etc. Owners very welcoming and helpful, and altogether excellent value for money.

My husband and I recently stayed for two nights in room one. This place was wonderful. In particular we loved the friendly helpfulness of the owners. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The breakfast was generous and included lovely touches like home made jams/ muesli and bread. Coffee was excellent too thanks John! Only tiny disappointment was... More

The rooms were perfect - clean, roomy, homey, with lots of plugs - and our hosts exceptional! The breakfast each morning was scrumptious and Jon and Carole could not have been more welcoming and any more helpful with travel tips. Thank you!

My wife and I stayed 2 nights in room 1, which is a double room with private bathroom at the front of the premises overlooking a quite busy road. I was a bit concerned about road noise at first, then realised as I was standing in the room I couldn’t hear any traffic noise despite the cars whizzing by. The... More
