We stayed at the Bridge Cafe for one night during the low season, because a friend was getting married nearby. We had a wonderful stay, and I wished we could have been there a little longer! Owners Jon and Carole were very friendly and helpful, the accommodation was well located in the centre of Brecon, the bedroom was nicely decorated... More

Jon & Carole have created a lovely B & B Bistro which is right in the centre of Brecon. The decor is very tastefully done and of an excellent standard of quality. The owners have an extensive knowledge of the area and travelling in general that you can tap into and are very friendly and helpful at all times. Food... More

The Bridge Cafe is rather strange but in a good way. Some mild annoyances but overall a very good place for a walking pit stop. Not least as the owners know the hills and can give very good advice on the where and what for of the area. They also have an OS or two to hand and finally they... More

Small business ran by a lovely couple in the centre of Brecon, parking right outside and round also the corner. Great local knowledge and have free access to loads of OS maps of local area for walks- gave us loads of advice on walking + what to see and do when asked and practically planned our trip for us! Cannot... More

Friendly, informative laid back couple. Carole and Jon do a great job making you feel at home. Everything very relaxed and delicious food and very comfortable room. Nothing too much trouble to make our stay memorable. We were very impressed. The best place we have stayed, it was hard to leave and we will certainly be returning. Thankyou guys!

Comfortable, great food, and generous hosts. The room was clean and comfortable, the shared bath had plenty of hot water, and the hosts were very generous with their time. They also loaned us a backpack, walking sticks, and a pair of hiking shoes! Very enjoyable stay

There was something very special about the Bridge - it felt really homely and comfortable, more as if you were staying at a friend's house than at a B and B - bits and pieces and books around all added to the charm. I liked the eco friendly shampoo/soap etc and the fact that we were offered a flask of... More

Just returned from a great 1 night stay at the Bridge Cafe B&B. We were at a wedding at the nearby Penpont Stables and didn't fancy camping there so we booked to stay in room 2. This room shared a bathroom with room 3 but wasn't a problem at all. Can highly recommend breakfast, (packed) lunch and dinner as we... More

This is our favourite place to eat out (even compared with Michelin starred restaurants). The food is always first class and the service friendly without being overbearing. The food is home cooked and the vegetables and fruit home grown. Highlights include home made ice cream and desserts. We have not stayed at the B & B but have no hesitation... More

Had one night here on trip through Wales,it was getting late and we had not booked anywhere,on passing the property we noticed a no vacancy sign was up but Jon was in front doing some painting and to cut a long story short after my wife spoke to him regarding an alternative he said Carole would make up the room...
