Stayed overnight at this B&B in Brecon. Lee & John Cox offer a very relaxed and warm welcome and my room was nicely decorated and well equipped. Lee was very helpful, suggesting places to eat. A nice touch is the honesty bar which has cold drinks and crisps. Breakfast was first rate. I would certainly stay here again.

We had a very enjoyable stay for 3 Nights Nice room with very comfy beds all newly decorated. A good choice of breakfast everything to a high standard. A very informative Host who could supply information and maps of the area. On street parking available with a large car park a few minutes walk away.

Stayed here for the weekend and was so pleased we chose this accommodation. Beautiful building, immaculately presented with great hosts. The bedroom and bathroom were lovely and a very high standard for a B & B. Crisp linen and huge bath sheets. Plenty of tea and coffee plus a flask of fresh milk when we arrived. Breakfast was superb. Stayed here for two nights while on on a motorcycle trip to Wales. Recently refurbished to a high standard. Comfortable beds, great public lounge area and reliable fast Wifi! Excellent breakfast served with attention to detail by the lovely Lee. Near to town centre so all amenities close to hand, good value too We'll be back!

Ty Helyg is a recently refurbished guest house. spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and a warm friendly welcome. Positioned conveniently for Brecon town centre it is ideal for pubs and restaurants. On street parking which we found safe, only issue are the steep stairs which might prove a challenge for older guests. Great value and would definitely stay again.

Hi Hugh. Really nice review, thank you. As a Georgian building, the steps to the second floor do get steeper and we always try to accommodate guests on the first floor wherever we can. Regards Lee and John More

Had a lovely one night stay in this beautiful guest house. As it was our anniversary we were kindly upgraded to their four poster room, which is more like a suite really! The owners have thought of everything and all the little touches made our stay so special. We would definitely hope to return soon!

Delightful, conveniently situated B & B. Breakfast consisted of freshly cooked local produce - sausages, bacon, jams etc. but scrambled egg with smoked salmon really hit the spot! Hostess very friendly and gave excellent 'tourist' advice - much better than local Tourist Information Office.

Thanks very much for your lovely review. It's always great to help guests get the most out of their stay and to see fantastic parts of the National Park not on the 'tourist trail'. Thanks again, Lee and John More

We stayed here as a group of 4 cyclists. Our rooms were of a high standard but not large - but quite large enough! Mine was to the rear and was very quiet. Some were onto the street which had a little late night noise. Nice lounge area downstairs with small bar. Very friendly, great breakfast, great value!

Great place to stay, a warm and friendly welcome and very hospitable. Exceptionally good breakfast with so much choice and local produce. So nice to be able to use the house facilities, even lit us a fire which made the stay so cosy.
