Very friendly helpful staff make this hotel acceptable - breakfast was v good taken in pleasant area in what appears to be a v good restaurant - rooms however were on the small side - furnished basically and maybe a little tired but good enough - tea/coffee making equipment - internet connection - f/fruit bowl.On the whole ok.

Excellent location, 10 mins from station and shops. Room small, basic furniture but comfortable bed. Modern decor. Very clean. Complimentary bowl fruit, bottled water & tea/coffee facilities. Creaky floorboards. Bedside lamp & shower head adjuster not working. Excellent restaurant underneath. Food delicious & staff professional & attentive. Yummy breakfast & plenty choice. Well recommend to stay at this lovely hotel.... More

Rooms are well furnished if a little small. Comfortable bed. Good toiletries and towels in the shower room. Free internet. Restaurant is a major plus point when comparing the accommodation with other similar priced hotels. Staff are on the ball, professional and friendly. Breakfast excellent and the fixed price dinner good value for money.

Stayed here for an overnight visit. Was in Wrexham for a business meeting and was recommended by colleagues paid less here for B & B than the quoted price for the local Premier Inn and feel i had a very good deal. Was a 10 minute walk from the General Railway Station (Left, Left, Left) but did have a car... More

This was our first visit to the Lemon Tree, staying for one night. The building itself is lovely, with church style windows which really add to the character. The staff are friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. When we arrived in our room, we had been left a bottle of prosseco chilling in an ice bucket as... More

We took a relative from Australia for an evening meal to the Lemon Tree on a last minute whim. We hadn't eaten there for years due to having heard differing reviews. We were made very welcome and the waiting on staff were informative, helpful and friendly without being imposing. The food was excellent, freshly cooked, tasty and well presented. There... More

the hotel was converted from an old builidng, the room was small but still retain most of the original structures that looked like a little chapel, the beautiful ornated arched windows, stepped seating, even the window in bathroom has special feature. it felt very special to stay in such a room. the interior decor was a bit dated and would... I booked this beautiful little hotel for my husbands birthday, we also had 13 friends and family booked in. What a lovely warm reception, nothing was too much trouble for the friendly and attentive staff. As we were going to the theatre in the evening we were being picked up at the hotel for 7.30, the restaurant opened at 6... More

LOCATION: Average. A long walk from the train station. HOTEL: Beautiful older building. Well maintained interior but landscaping unkept. Nice bar and restaurant. Modernised interior. ROOM: Small with very tiny bathroom. SERVICE: Very good. Staff friendly and helpful. VALUE FOR MONEY: Average. WOULD I STAY AGAIN?: No, because room and bathroom far too small.
