Came to North Wales to visit Llandegla Forest as we are keen mountain bikers and also to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Booked in at the Lemon Tree for 2 nights, Saturday and Sunday. We were well impressed with the hotel, our room needed a little tlc but nothing major, was warm and welcoming as were the staff. We had breakfast... More

Came here for a few nights during Wales comic-con in November and was delighted with the hotel. Check in swift and the room was fine, nothing special but clean and tidy. Shower was good and slept well here both nights. Breakfast was great and plenty of it. Would return here coming back to Wrexham.

Eight of us recently visited the Lemon Tree for the New Years Eve dinner. We had a wonderful night. The welcome from the staff was excellent, the food lovely & the atmosphere was great. A lovely dinner with some entertainment in the form of an acoustic singer which added to the atmosphere for the night. Remarkable given that the owners... More

We were spending a few days in the area and the Lemon Tree offered us a warm and friendly home away from home. We were made to feel welcome from the start. We benefited from one of the newly refurbished rooms at the from of the building. I'd rate it alongside the Premier Inns of this world - pleasing! We... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights whilst visiting chester/cheshire oaks, Very welcoming and loveley building, be aware that the car parking is very tight especially for larger 4 x 4 vehicles. There are no lifts but this is stated in the details. We cannot fault the service and friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of rooms was good although... More

Had a delicious meal in "The Shack" which is part of the Lemon Tree, food was great, service was superb, the waiter Sam kept us amused all night, what a star, will definitely be returning on the basis of such a great welcome, an asset to the company.

We arrived at the hotel and was advised that we would have to sit in the snug and wait as they were busy with another party booking. The snug is a long table in the opposite room and was not very welcoming. After waiting nearly 40 minutes we were finally shown to our room which upon entry was freezing cold.... More

I stayed here for a night as it was easier for Wales Comic Con. The hotel itself was lovely and had very friendly staff. It was very close to the University, which was helpful. This is a short review but overall no faults really :)

Our stay at The Lemon Tree was definitely a highlight to our busy family vacation. My husband and I traveled with our eight-year-old son and we all felt very at home and welcomed here. The building itself is magnificent and our room was perfect for us. We walked from the train station and walked into the town center often during... More
