If you want a venue that oozes charm and character then look no further than Worthenbury Manor near Wrexham. The owner provides a level of personal service second to none and is very attentive to the needs of his guests. The choice of breakfast dishes is wide ranging and there is certainly something for all tastes. I could not use... More

It was just such a privilege to stay in so beautiful and comfortable surroundings. The attention to detail is fantastic right down to the beautifully planted baskets of spring flowers on the window sill. Breakfast was sumptious, everything you could possibly want pre thought and provided. Ian was a wonderful host and just couldn't have done any more to please... More

Wonderful place, great hosts and lovely food. Beautiful surroundings and log fire lit especially for us (actually fell asleep on the sofa)! We had the larger of the two delightful rooms and experienced one of the best sleeps ever. Ian was so obliging and the detail was fantastic. Enjoyed our stay so much have recommended to our daughter and husband... More

The manor is a beautiful place to stay, and Ian was a perfect host. We were very well looked after, and we felt lucky to stay in such lovely surroundings with so much history. Breakfast was great, with both hot and cold options, and lovely fresh orange juice. Great value, we can't wait to go back again!

The manor house is a stunning building with beautifully preserved interiors. It is like stepping back in time. Ian was a wonderful host, kind enough to make porridge for me at 6am ahead of my bike ride in the Dee Valley and Clwydian Range (an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). Would definitely recommend as a base for exploring the area.

Currently staying at the manor, the staff can't do enough for you, the beds are to die for and the sheer quality of decoration and detail are out of this world. Oh and finally find a hotel with no uht milk at last.

We stumbled onto this little beauty of a place whilst looking for a place to stay on trip advisor. It is a beautiful manor house which has only two bedrooms. We stayed in the four poster Captains room. It was lovely and spotlessly clean. Beautiful old furniture decorated the room and you had a table with tea, selection of speciality... More

Had a fantastic time with the most helpful of staff imaginable. The breakfast was incredible with home made jams and tiny details to die for. Definitely going back next time with my girlfriend when we're down that way

We stayed for a night to celebrate my partner's birthday and cannot fault our experience. The property is unique and full of history. The room was such a welcome departure from the bland hotel chains. The furnishings are luxurious and the four poster bed supremely comfortable. We had dinner at the b&b by prior arrangement and Ian cooked us an... More

Coming to Worthenbury Manor is like visiting a stately home and then being told you're allowed to stay the night. The house is very old with incredibly thick walls so it is very warm and quiet. Everything is beautiful with many lovely pieces of furniture wherever you look. We stayed in Captain Rayner's room which has a lovely four poster... More
