This is an ideal location for Chester and Wrexham. The manor is beautiful and the host a real gentleman. Nothing is too much bother and the breakfast was delicious. We will most definitely be returning in the new year. A fabulous little location with old world charm.

We booked this B&B for an end-of-season break at the end of October/beginning of November, because of the reviews and the great package price. We weren't disappointed. The Manor has been tastefully and faithfully restored with period furniture and authentic decor throughout. The very spacious bedroom and equally roomy bathroom were both very clean, warm and exquisite with four poster... More

Down the country lanes, and not far from either Wrexham or Chester, lies this hidden manor house. Beautifully constructed home with a magnificent nostalgic air, Ian and his charming family welcome you to his establishment. Boasting of a bespoke service, B&B or even dinner, I will heartily recommend.

I stayed here with my mother for two nights, we had two lovely rooms - both gloriously well appointed. The food was home prepared from locally sourced produce. Ian was the best host and clearly loved the Manor. His homemade cake, jams and marmalades alone were worth the visit. Thank you so much

We stayed here on Friday after Bangor on Dee races. Our room was lovely, comfortable, clean and quirky. Our breakfast was fantastic, with fresh fruit and home made marmalade, as well as award winning sausages and free range eggs. We will definitely stay again, be sure to book early as it's very popular. Liz and Paul

Ian is looking after this lovely B&B single-handedly and what a fantastic job he makes of it! The Manor is a wonderful place to stay and Ian is the perfect host. The 4-poster oak bed was really comfortable and all the rooms have fantastic period furniture which just adds to the ambience and great atmosphere of the place. In a... More

Ian and Elizabeth were perfect hosts in their very beautiful home. Our room and bathroom were fabulous, very comfortable as well as very luxurious. Every detail was taken care of: wine cooler, fruit bowl, bathrobes, Moulton Brown toiletries, magazines etc. Dinner was delicious with home grown vegetables and locally sourced food. Breakfast was also perfect with an exceptionally wide choice.... More

Ian couldn't be more helpful. Fantastic environment, super clean, wonderful house and magnificent breakfast. And what marmalade! (Home made and award winning! ) . All though the bathroom was external from the bedroom it was no problem, it had modern fittings with colloquial feel, extrafigantly stocked with top of the range toiletries. Bedroom well equipped, state of the art radio... More
