Coming to Worthenbury Manor is like visiting a stately home and then being told you're allowed to stay the night. The house is very old with incredibly thick walls so it is very warm and quiet. Everything is beautiful with many lovely pieces of furniture wherever you look. We stayed in Captain Rayner's room which has a lovely four poster... More

I booked this as a last minute stay, what a find, a real hidden gem. Four poster bed, fantasic breakfast and service was as good as any 5* hotel. The host could not do enough for me, looking forward to my next stay, very soon!

My husband and I were impressed by recent reviews and decided to stay at the Manor -what a wonderful experience! The hosts could not do enough for us and made us feel so welcome. The accommodation is charming, beautiful rooms, lovely four poster bed and all the 'extras' that you would normally expect from a five star hotel - fresh... More

Great breakfast, very attentive host, interesting place with oodles of books and... More

This year I travelled to Worthenbury Manor with my husband and he was as pleased with the Manor as I was. We spent three nights. Ian made us a full dinner the first night and light suppers the second and third (Meals by prior arrangement) and we provided our own wine. We stayed again in Captain Raynor's room which is... More

We stayed one night at the manor, whilst attending a wedding locally. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Ian, who showed us to our room where a bowl of fruit and hot cross buns awaited us. The room was clean, well-appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was a delicious spread of fruit and cereals and a very... More

Myself and my partner spent 2 nights at Worthenbury Manor in January 2013. It was a wonderful place to stay, we were made to feel very welcome by both ian and liz which added to the experience. We stayed in Captain Raynor's room and had a bottle of champagne, a box of chocolates and some roses waiting in the room... More

I spent three days/nights at Worthenbury Manor in August. It's a wonderful old building with two lovely bedrooms, both with canopy beds, for guests. My room (Captain Raynor's) had a sofa and fireplace and large ensuite bathroom. There is a cozy lounge for guests. The breakfasts were very complete, with homemade jams and marmelades, cereals and many choices of hot... More
