Refurbished and under new friendly management. My first impression was that it looks warm and inviting, the bar is in the middle with a larger dining area at the far end, hidden away. Unfortunately that room has terrible acoustics and with all the tables full, the notice is quite load. It didn't help that two people in a party of... More

We visited last week on their new opening, completely refurbished, looks quite nice, shame they didn't move the bar as you walk in the door and smack bang into the bar, not the best of welcomes and the bar is so tiny, but new owners seem nice. Couple of really good staff here as well, hope it does well for... More

It is not opening until tomorrow (22.08.14) but I had a sneek preview of the changes last weekend, and it looks fabulous! The new guys that... More

Very poor main course with dry meat, overcooked veg and potatoes which tasted like they had been standing for ages. On the plus side the soup was nice. The unapologetic landlord reluctantly gave us a discount but only because we asked. This pub used to be great for food and atmosphere, it's really disappointing to see what's happened to it.

My husband and I recently (2 April) stayed at the Trevor Arms with five friends, as we were attending a wedding a few miles away. We arrived at the hotel early, but the staff were very helpful and allowed us to check in at 10am and use our rooms so we could get ready for the wedding. They provided us... More
