I'm very much a speak as you find sort of person whether that be good or bad.Booked a table at last minute for last night for my partner and my son. We all enjoyed a lovely meal from start to finish. I had the serloin steak with peppercorn sauce and onion rings. It was cooked beautifully and was delicious.

We stayed at the Trevor for one night in July. We didn't use the restaurant so can't comment on that. Our room was an upgrade, labelled as 'executive', paid £55 for room only. At first glance the room seemed OK, clean and tasteful decor. The bathroom is due an upgrade, it was fitted with an underpowered electric shower, and the... More

After telling family and friends about our visit to the Trevor Arms Marford, thought we should now write our review. We visited on 22 April 2015 and had a booked a table in the dining room in advance. On arrival we were shown to a very small room that was clearly not in the dining room. We explained we had... Ate here this evening with my partner. They have done a very good job with the decor; it's gorgeous and the atmosphere it warm and friendly. I had steak which was cooked the way I like it, nice and rare. I have had better steaks but it was pretty nice. My partner had the gammon which was delicious and well... More

Visited this evening with my partner. Decor is fabulous, they really have done a great job and service is good. Lady behind the bar very knowledgeable about wine and recommended something that I very much enjoyed. Mixed grill was off the menu ( which I really wanted) but opted for a steak instead which was okay; not the best and... More

Called in late afternoon in the hope of some food as we had travelled and were starving. Lovely warm welcome and efficient , friendly attention from the get go. We had drinks and then haddock and chips and a beautifully done prawn sandwich with extra salad. Followed by desert and tea. Everything tasted excellent and was served correctly. The place... More

We called in to the pub looking for a light lunch and found it to be nicely done out. The staff were friendly and the menu had lots of interesting dishes. We chose from the light menu, my husband having the beef and red onion sandwich and I had the home made fish finger sandwich. Both came with a nice... More

We visited here as a group for a pre Christmas get together. We had 9 children with us who were accommodated on their own table right next to ours giving us plenty if room to spread out. The restaurant has been renovated beautifully and had a cosy country pub feel to it. The menu had a good choice. Many of... More

Three elderly gentlemen pulled in on the off chance for lunch today having failed to get into the original one of their choice because it was full. The ambiance as we walked in, not knowing what to expect, was good. The welcome from the young man behind the bar was warm and friendly and the young waitress who looked after... More

We had Sunday lunch here and we would probably need to know that they have raised their game before returning for this particular meal. (The more typical 'pub' food eg fish and chips etc looked to be a better standard.) Service was somewhat slow but our particular waitress was both pleasant and efficient. Our starters looked better than they ate.... More
