Good and bad reviews on here which and I would say they are pretty justified BUT the lovely old pub is coming to the end of a full refurbishment and is under new management. It is not opening until tomorrow (22.08.14) but I had a sneek preview of the changes last weekend, and it looks fabulous! The new guys that... More

Very poor main course with dry meat, overcooked veg and potatoes which tasted like they had been standing for ages. On the plus side the soup was nice. The unapologetic landlord reluctantly gave us a discount but only because we asked. This pub used to be great for food and atmosphere, it's really disappointing to see what's happened to it.

My husband and I recently (2 April) stayed at the Trevor Arms with five friends, as we were attending a wedding a few miles away. Booked one night 26/10/12 I had not read the reviews so expected to be disappointed, but it was value for money, I preferred the quirky features to bland travel lodges, the room was clean, warmand the breakfast most satisfying. If their was one fault two words squeaky floors, and as for the walls being thin, we had a busy day... More
