Meas-y-Garth is an ideal 'get away from it all' bed and breakfast destination located less than 10 minutes walk from Betwys-y-Coed town centre and railway station, offering a great location with covenient access to the beautiful Snowdownia National Park. This was our 4th stay at Maes Y Garth warmly welcomed once again by our hosts Rose and Steve. We can honestly say it's the best B & B we've stayed in and have no hesitation in going back time and time again. Everything about Maes-y-Garth is perfect: Lovely rooms which Rose cleans every day without fail. Tastefully decorated yet... more

Another great getaway weekend at a first class B&B. We have stayed with Rose and Steve since their first year of opening and standards have never dropped. The breakfast is hot, plenty of it for a days walking and plenty of choice if you prefer a lighter option. The beds are the most comfortable I have stayed in and afriendly... more

Some B&Bs are like mini-hotels, some are like home. This one is like home, with smashing hosts, Rose and Steve, comfortable and spotless rooms and fabulous breakfasts! I'd recommend this place for anyone who wants a warm welcome and the personal touch. Many thanks for a terrific 4 nights with you Rose & Steve. more

A spectacular location, a beautifully furnished, very comfortable room, and a delicious breakfast each morning! By virtue of the fact that we were staying for over a week, we were upgraded to the superior double room at no extra cost and it did not disappoint. This truly was a jewel of a find and we cannot recommend it highly enough.... more

Visited with my mate Stu to try out the many excellant mountain bike trails in Snowdonia. We initially decided to try out Maes-y-Garth because of some reviews that we had read and I have to say we were not dissapointed. A warm welcome and a surpirise cup of tea and slice of cake was well receoved after a 6 hour... more

I spent five extremely pleasant nights at Maes-y-Garth, and, despite somewhat irregular North Wales weather, very much enjoyed my time at Betws-y-Coed. The room was spotless and nicely furnished, and the bed so comfortable that I slept at least as well as I sleep at home. Rose's breakfasts, as others have noted, are superb. All in all it was a... more

Welcome included tea, cake and a big smile. Our room was faultless and breakfast is like a top five star hotel. Rose and Steve looked after us like family and made our stay just the best. Steve helped us with local routes to enjoy on our days out and made his garage available for our bikes. There aren't words enough... more

Our nicely decorated, spotlessly clean room with comfy beds had stunning views over the Conwy valley. Everything you could need and more was provided. Umbrellas, walking sticks maps etc. were available too. We were made very welcome by Rose and Steve with tea and home made cake. The whole house is well maintained, clean and airy and the dining room... more
