Welcomed with a tea and biscuits, and shown to a beautiful room with a great view. Just the right amount of help and advice available. Fully recommended. This Guesthouse is individual in all the right ways. Free Wi-Fi a boon. more

We stayed at the Mount Garmon View Guesthouse at the beginning of September for 3 nights and had the most fantastic time. Not only was it perfectly situated in the little town, but the guesthouse itself was superb... lovely rooms, scrupulously clean, very comfortable beds, with a delicious breakfast each morning and Petra, the owner, goes out of her way... more

We were 2 couples and had a weekend at Mount Garmon View as the base for our walking. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of tea/coffee etc in our rooms as well as drinks and biscuits in the dining room on arrival. The breakfasts were beautiful, and my strange food requests were accommodated by Petra. Petra's local... more

We had a fantastic four days at MGV. Petra (the owner) adds value to ensure your stay is perfect. She accommodated our special dietary requirements, has excellent knowledge of restaurants, local activities and places to visit. She is always happy to provide advice and suggestions of what to do and where to go. Her enthusiasm and attention for detail makes... more

This is the second time that we have stayed at the Mount Garmon View, and we would highly recommend this B & B as it's in a great location, spotlessly clean and Petra is a excellent host. more

Our fourth visit to Mount Garmon and Petra for the customary warm welcome to immaculate ( & newly decorated) accommodation; as ever plentiful teas coffees biccis etc and an informative chat about local events displays and anything new that might be of interest. Garden full of beautiful Spring blooms, despite efforts of some charmless ******* trashing the tulips, but Hey... more

We stayed at Mount Garmon View for 3 nights towards the end of Feb. I'd already done a little bit of research about places to stay etc and I found this place, which looked great. From the minute I e mailed the place to enquire about a resevation, I was overwhelmed by how helpful the owner, Petra was. She was... more

I have just had the most fabulous walking holiday, sun, snow, mountains, spectacular views and to top it all, the best b+b I've ever stayed in. Petra, the owner, is so welcoming and, as a keen walker herself, has abundent local knowledge. From the hearty breakfast to up to the moment weather printout everything was thought of. And the best bit......waking up... more

Don't need to say much more than the title really... Lovely host, Petra, really goes out of her way to make you feel welcome! Lovely clean rooms and we stayed there over New Year so the house looked really pretty with lots of Christmas decorations. The room was lovely and cosy and the bathroom was immaculate. There were lots of... more
