The welcoming wasn't as we expected. Ian was very uninviting. There was no conversation nothing. It was just straight away: Sign here, room is upstairs, don't throw anything down the WC ( Signs everywhere telling you this not once but three times). Don't get me wrong. I understand that they are worried because the power of the Toilet is very... more

Management response from

We are sorry to hear that this guest did not enjoy their stay as much as they expected. We would, however, like to respond to some of their comments. We have statutory notices for no smoking, fire regulations and insurance. At the entrance to the property we have directions for offloading and car parking. The other information notice is for...

Just stayed one night at this B&B, follwoing a good review in a newspaper. The place is spotless, comfortable and the owners very welcoming. The views from the rooms superb, as are the birds feeding in the garden. If staying here again, we would definitely go back. more

We stayed only 1 night but were very pleased. It's a lovely house, very well kept and the owners are friendly and helpful. It's a quick walk into Betws-y-Coed, although the walk is alongside a somewhat busy road. This is a textbook B&B at a reasonable price. more

Glyntwrog House is located just on the outskirts of Betws-Y-Coed. You have a private parking space - you won't need the car to visit Betws, as you can walk in to town in 5 minutes. Immediately impressed with the exterior, very well kept and we were greeted in a very friendly manner by Ian. We only stayed the one night,... more

We have stayed in this B&B twice, each time with different owners. Both times we were not disappointed. We received a very warm welcome and helpful suggestions on where to eat in the evening. The rooms were beautiful. The first time we stayed in a room with a bath because the owners knew we were going to be doing some... more

The B&B is perched on the rock face hidden amongst a lovely, secluded garden of rhododendrons. The drive is a tight turn from the A5 and difficult to spot. If you miss the turning, go over the bridge and turn round in the petrol station. The owners are very welcoming, know a lot about the area and are happy to... more
