I stayed here with some friends on a mountain biking weekend, and we could not have been looked after better. The breakfasts have to be amongst the best I've had in a B&B. Simon even offered to prepare us breakfast at stupid-o'clock in the morning before a dawn ride up nearby Snowdon. We felt that nothing would be too much... More

We loved staying here - we are a group of mountain bikers and loved the area and this brilliant B&B. We were made to feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We had to get up very early one day to get up Snowdon and back before bike curfew of 10am and Simon was up with us making... More

Being a frequent visitor to Betws this time I decided to extend the trip to an overnight stay with some friends. Staying at Swn Y Dwr was a great experience from start to finish - really helpful with booking, very friendly welcome, loads of information and recommendations on where to eat and drink (All within a stones throw), fantastic comfortable... Myself and 3 others stayed at the Swn-y-Dwr guest house after hiking up Snowdon. I would highly recommend staying here if you are considering somewhere located within a short distance of Snowdon and also somewhere close to shops, restaurants and pubs. The Hotel was situated just off the main high street on a quiet road. The shops and pubs were... More

When we arrived we received a very warm welcome. The guest house was spotless and newly decorated. You couldn't ask for a better place, breakfast was delicious, cooked fresh to order & the proprietors were very helpful & accommodating to our needs, nothing was to much trouble. The location was fantastic and we will definitely be staying there again.

Swn Y Dwr is lovely B&B right in heart of Betws y Coed. The rooms were very comfortable and the B&B overall was extremely clean and well kept. The two proprietors were absolutely lovely as well as being excellent guides to the local area. Couldn't recommend more highly!

First visit to Betws y Coed we stayed in the lovely Swn y Dwr B&B. The room was newly, very tastefully furbished with picturesque views of the river. The location was within easy walking distance of the local amenities but on a quiet street, which allowed for a good night's sleep. Simon and Jane were lovely, breakfast was excellent and... More

As the title suggests, Swn Y Dwr is in a fantastic location, right in the heart of the village, lovely gardens that back on to the river. The rooms were really tidy and well presented with possibly the most comfortable beds EVER! Even though its in the middle of the village, it was lovely and quiet. And after an amazing... More

Was a bit dubious about booking here as could not find many reviews (only on late rooms), however could not have been more pleased that we did! House is lovely, about a 3 minute walk from the centre of "town" but far enough to be peaceful and quiet. Wendy the owner was friendly, welcoming and helpful, and not in your... More
