Stayed here as a last minute booking, the hotel is beautiful we couldn't of faulted a thing. We stayed in room 7 which was huge with a lovely super king size bed and a private balcony. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was delicious. We would highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Love this place !!!!

I booked this hotel as a surprise for my fiance's birthday as i was taking him to Zipworld and this hotel was nearby. I paid the extra to stay in room 2 which had a hot tub on the balcony with amazing views, well worth it. We ate in the restaurant for 2 nights and the food was excellent. I... More

We visit this restaurant every 2 or 3 months for dinner and to date we have only ever had wonderful food and brilliant service. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel setting is a joy on a summers evening. It is not a cheap place to eat and is more expensive than other restaurants in the area... More

Just used for one night stopover. Lovely big room number10 worth choosing for a couple, I was lucky and got free upgrade! Excellent dinner and breakfast. Very relaxing with roaring log fire in lounge to sit by as rain and wind crashed down. If up in north wales again would definitely come back.

Another great 2 day stay. The weather wasn't particularly brilliant, but it was November, and in fact it made the stay very cosy. We stayed in a different room than our previous visits which was overlooking the river, both rooms we have stayed in were standard and were both lovely in their own right. Once again the food was excellent,... More

We were told about this out of the way hotel/restaurant. After a beautiful drive from Conwy Wales we found the lane that leads to this little paradise. Lunch was very well prepared as well as paired with a nice wine. This hotel was a RAF headquarters during WWII. If you stay over night they will outfit you for fly fishing... More

Stayed here one night in September 2015 in a twin with a friend. Our room had a balcony overlooking a pristine river and lush green field. So beautiful. Bed was very comfortable, tea and coffee and free wi-fi in the room. Good shower and bathroom. The room was spacious and warm. We had dinner and breakfast there. Both meals were... More

Stayed in the River Super King room and the name describes it perfectly. The bedroom was huge, a really comfortable super king sized bed, two seater couch, flat screen tv on the wall, double sliding door wardrobe, plenty of cupboard space, a table and two chairs in the bay window overlooking the river. A big bathroom with a bath and... More
