Stayed for 2 nights in late October and as it was an anniversary treat we went for the room with the hot tub on the balcony. The location of the hotel is brilliant, close to Betws-Y-Coed and the main road, but set off on its own up the valley. It feels isolated despite its proximity to the A5. There was... More

As many other reviewers have already stated this is a hotel not to be missed if you coming to this area, perfectly situated for exploring Snowdonia and a wonderful setting on the river which is worth the price on its own. The breakfast is truly awesome, I only managed half a welsh breakfast each morning, but it is not the... More

This was our third visit of the year and we've been coming for over four years now. As always everything was first class from the friendly helpful staff, well appointed and spotless room to the excellent food with a breakfast that keeps you going all day. Wonderful location and we can't wait to come back next year.

Found this delightful Hotel on the internet and decided to have 2 nights stay in September 2014. Everything was wonderful from the attentive Staff, lovely room and grounds and the food was excellent. Home grown food the a well varied menu for evening and breakfast. The Welsh breakfast sounded excellent but I cannot face too much early morning so for... More

Stayed here one night before Snowdon horseshoe. The room was large, pleasantly furnished with a big bathroom. We had intended to eat here, but were put off by poor reviews. Breakfast was good though with plenty of choice and good service.

This was a birthday treat for afternoon tea (Red Letter). It was just fabulous - homemade cakes, scones, bread - raspberries grown in the hotel's garden - plenty top ups of tea and coffee. It was a lovely day so we sat out on the terrace overlooking the hotel garden and the river. Staff were so attentive, nothing was too... More

Needing a break after successful surgery we picked this hotel for a week's break with DB&B. It is difficult to find fault. Room large and comfortable with huge bathroom. Overlooked the river Conwy complete with heron. Staff mostly young and friendly, willing and able. Many of them seem to be leaving at the end of October sadly. Food mainly excellent;... More

We spent a long weekend at the hotel. Had a fantastic time. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. We had one of the rooms with a deck area overlooking the grounds, stunning. The hotel has 18 acres of land alongside the river Conwy. Room to walk your dogs and a garden set aside for non dog lovers. Perfect. We... More

Second visit to this stunning hotel and was not disappointed! Fantastic location, beautiful surroundings. Our room was immaculate and more than big enough. The staff were warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble especially the chef who happily worked around my dairy allergy without a problem! All in all was a perfect trip and we definitely have plans to... More
