Stayed 2 nights at the end of October, Room was lovely, beautiful furnishings, comfortable and clean, my only criticism on the room was a lack of towel rails and waste paper basket in the bathroom....so if that's the only problem then you're not doing too badly! I did notice though that there was no radiator in the room which may mean... more

We visited the Plas Derwen for a meal one evening after looking at various other restaurants in the village. I was attracted to it because it offered a 2 course or 3 course deal which I hadn't noticed at other restaurants. I chose the 2 course option for £8.95 and the standard of food was excellent (especially the toasted goats... more

We visited Plas Derwen just for some dinner and found the food to be of exceptional quality despite the very cheap price tag! It seemed to be newly refurbished and was lovely inside. The owner was very friendly and knowledgable, the only minor criticism would be that the young waiting staff seemed unprepared. Overall though a fantastic dinner and was... more

I found this B&B on the off-chance as I was walking through Betws-y-Coed. It was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. The room we stayed in had a shared bathroom, which was absolutely spotless. The breakfast was an added bonus. Definitely one of the better B&Bs. Thank you to the very friendly staff. more

At first sight from the outside, we were not sure it was a b&b, but soon saw the vacancies sign in the window, on enquiry we were told they had the perfect room for us. 2 adults and one child in room 8, with a lovely oak pull out bed for the child, the house was immaculate and the staff... more

We have stayed with Pam & Dave countless times before & this time was with our crowd of young adults - 11 of us in all. They were bowled over by the standard of the rooms, and quality of the food & service. As three of us are veggies, we were amazed by the plentiful options. All thought the food... more

I'm not going to pretend I'm an easy going traveller. I'm not. I like my accommodation to be clean & the staff to be friendly regardless of the price. These things cost v little to maintain. Anyway, this 'hotel' (I'd say guesthouse) was way above any expectations I had. It was really, really good value & the owners were on... more
