Called in to this place for a meal. Service was appalling, bar staff rude and became aggresive when we tried to complain. No management on site at the time to make a formal complaint. Worst attitude I have ever had to encounter, if this an example of Welsh hospitality they can keep it. more

Well, it doesn't cost the earth, it is in a beautiful location, and is certainly value for money, though doesn't feel like a treat. Pretty clean all around (we stayed in the annexe). Great for exploring the Snowdonia area. Pub in the main building with good food. more
