We enjoyed our stay in Betws-y-coed, this B&B is very comfortable and Claire was an excellent hostess. Breakfast was good. Very helpful with advice about the area and for our touring down the road. Would love to stay longer next time. More

The Courthouse is a great stay inside a quiet lovely little town.Claire (sorry, I forgot the name of the male host...) were fantastic hosts. The room was well put together and all the rooms were nicely themed and decorated with quite some taste! The breakfast was just lovely. We only stayed for one night but certainly wished that we had... More

The Courthouse is an amazing place to stay! A B&B without fault and great history! Parents stayed here at the beginning of September with an elderly lady. They tried to re-book as it was soo great, but were disappointed when they just missed their chance! Friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable hosts. They would also appreciate it if you passed on their... More

This is the fourth time we have stayed with Claire and John at Henllys the courthouse. We booked all rooms for the bank holiday weekend. John and Claire are excellent hosts. Food is excellent and the rooms are very comfortable. It is now like home from home. We look forward to staying again next year. More

We chose this accommodation for a couple of nights after internet research and TripAdvisor reviews when looking for accommodation in northern Wales. We like to find places with a little bit of character, and the Courthouse with its history certainly fitted the bill. We chose the handcuff room – go figure – perhaps the name conjured up certain images! The... More

We stayed at The Courthouse for 3 nights after finding it on an internet search. We were very impressed with the accomodation, food and friendliness of Claire and John. Nothing was too much trouble and after a very wet walk on one of the days, they hung all our wet clothes up in the kitchen to dry. We would definitely... More

This is a wonderful B&B in a wonderful village. We stayed 7 nights in late July and didn't want to leave! Claire and John were brilliant hosts - knowledgeable and friendly - and the breakfasts were amazing. Loads of choice and a great way to set you up for a day's walking. We stayed in the Interrogation Room, which has... More

Alongside the river down a quiet cul-de-sac you wouldn't think you were just off the main road of a busy tourist/walkers village in Swondonia. Stayed in the Lawyer Room - Large family room with a king sized bed (why don't all B&Bs etc have these??!!) and ensuite bathroom. Really comfortable. Breakfasts lovely - our daughter had toasted sandwiches every day!... More

From booking to Clare & John could have not been more helpful, the accomodation was perfect, good food and good rooms. Local knowledge and advice on were to visit, eat and even best places to park was freely given. Only one problem being that I wish we had booked for longer, will return to enjoy the location and The Courthouse More

We stayed for a week and had a wonderfull time. John and Claire were great hosts. The room was spotlessly clean with a great view over the river. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choice. A superb place to stay, highly recommended. More
