This is perfectly situated at the end of the village and not a far walk to all the pubs and restaurants although I would recommend the chippy at the top of town opposite the pb two visits there both excellent. The leaisure facilities here were good and breakfast excellent.

We stopped at this hotel because it was the first hotel that we saw that had a health club. IT was an OK room, clean, not too expnesive. The menu for the attached restaurant looked bad! We didn't dare eat there, but found a good restaurant a block away,p the riverside. The breakfast was OK, not great, but lots of... More

Food was great--rooms large and clean--great location--stayed with another couple in adjoining rooms and both of us were very happy with our visit--wish they could do something about the weather.

We had a really lovely stay in this hotel, in a lodge room, which is away from the main hotel and spa. The room was spacious, warm, with a great comfortable bed. It afforded us wonderful privacy, and the breakfast was very good too. It is a beautiful village and although the weather was not wonderful, we did a bit... More

A friendly warm welcome awaited us on arrival and checked in to our room straight away. We had one of the rooms to the side of the hotel, as we had our dog with us.Clean and roomy. Doors are of the 'Slam lock' type, watch you dont leave door key inside. bathroom clean and of a decent size. Tried the... More

Booked superior room (chalet) and found it very spacious with your own car parking space. Table and chairs outside would have been lovely to sit at had weather been kinder. Ate twice at the hotel and food was fine but do not expect a comprehensive menu. Buffet breakfast was excellent and staff were very attentive. No waiting for tea or... More

We stayed in a 'Superior' room which turned out to be a rather large apartment with our 'own' patio area/shared garden space! All the rooms were clean and tidy, as you would expect. We had a fantastic time there and staff could not be more helpful and pleasant to talk to. Would definitely go back again.

We stayed in July for one night as a family and had a great room behind the main building. The "chalet" was very spacious and well fiitted and we could park outside which was very convenient to move bags. The servive overall was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful, even though this is a hotel chain... More

Some of the Waterloo's rooms are in the main hotel; others are in an adjacent motel-style block. On arrival we were slightly disappointed to be allocated one of the latter. But we needn't have worried; the room was well up to Best Western's usual standards, and being able to park the car right outside the room was an added bonus.... More
