We visit the Bridge 1815 every week and are always impressed by the friendly staff welcome that awaits us. The place is relaxing and the food is great - their new menu is impressive and uses local ingredients where possible. Try the pizzas which are lovely or the Mussels from Conwy, just up the valley - they come in a... More

The Bridge 1815 within the Waterloo Hotel is a relaxing, informal venue for a drink, snack or meal. We drop in most weekends and are always impressed by the great , friendly service, locally sourced food and drink and the location is lovely. The Waterloo constantly changes to meet customers' expectations, it's the best place in town!

We stayed in the family chalet (two adults and one child) and enjoyed a relaxing and pleasant stay. The staff are very welcoming and the food was excellent. The pool and gym which hotel guests have included access to is an added bonus. IIf you're looking for a great hotel to stay in for a quiet weekend away then this... More

Stayed for only one night, in the chalets front facing the main hotel. With french doors out to a garden area, with your own table and chairs, great if the sun is shining to relax and listen to the sounds of nature. Rooms huge, with a king size bed, separate lounge area, with sofa and table, desk a large TV... More

We stayed here on a last minute deal and where pleased with the chalet type room we were allocated, it was very clean and accommodated our family of 5 ok. The food in the evening was of a high standard but kids meals were very limited and the cost of some of the items on the menu seemed a little... More

We are happy that we accomodated you and your family so comfortably during your recent stay and that you enjoyed the cuisine at our newly refurbished restaurant - the childrens menu is something that we are going to be looking at changing coming up to the school holidays. Please do not hesitate to give us a call if you are... More

We had a 2 night break via a KGB deal and for the money we paid I thought it was great value. Good points: Bedroom & bathroom size generous, bed very comfortable, staff helpful, breakfast plentiful (with enough choice). Weak points: 6am train at the back of the chalet (even when we used the double glazing) although we only heard... More

We arrived at the hotel late at night after our trek up snowdon. The staff were very accomodating, nothing was too much trouble, given the late hour. There was so much choice for breakfast, you could even have something specially cooked. The evening meal in the restaurant was very good value. Spa/Gym very modern and open long hours. Overall a... Until I stayed at the Waterloo Hotel I thought that motels were a rarity in our country. Seemingly not so if Betws-y-coed is anything to go by! We were allocated a chalet-type room consisting of a large bedroom and a bathroom. The car could be parked right outside the door to the chalet. The room was excellent with one of... More

Stayed on a KGB deal which offered great value for money. The location is excellent - just a 5 min walk into Betws y Coed which is a lovely town and provides a great base for exploring the local area.
