My husband and I spent 2 wonderful days at Tan Dinas. Eileen the hostess took care of our every need and made us feel at home. The house is grand and in a stunning tranquil location with beautiful views from our bedroom. Breakfast was delicious, served at individual tables in the spacious and bright dining room overlooking the valley. I'm... more

Just realised after an amazing stay at Tan Dinas in August, that I hadn't done a review! This wonderful place certainly deserves one (sorry it's late!) This is an absolute gem of a place with service second to none, fantastic hosts, Eileen and Jon, who make your stay wonderful. The location at the heart of Betys-y-Coed is brilliant and the... more

Clean , comfortable, quiet and peaceful with amazing views just far enough away from the noisy main street but only a five minute walk. I can guarantee you will love your stay here and the breakfast is superb. more

We have just spent a weekend in heaven. TAN DINAS has to be the loveliest place to stay when you want to escape the rat race. Our room was a delight-tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. I don't know what Eileen uses to launder the bedding but it smelt so fresh. In the morning we had a full welsh breakfast fit... more

My husband and I spent the night at Tan Dinas for our 2nd Anniversary. Not only do Eileen and John have one of the most beautiful Victorian houses we've ever seen but they are both the perfect hosts. Eileen greeted us when we arrived as did an Anniversary card which was most appreciated. You could not want for anything more... more

Superb accomodation, great food, wonderful very helpful hosts. Eileen and John made us feel like friends and gave us lots of advice on places to visit in the area. There is so many interesting places to visit. The views from Tan Dinas House are second to none. Thank you both for an unforgetable visit. more

Tan Dinas House is a welcome home away from home. The thoughtful warm nature of Eileen and John made us feel comfortable immediately. Breakfast was a morning treat with smoked salmon scrambled eggs for me and a full English breakfast for my husband. Our days activities were made more interesting with a thoughtful table of local reading materials, bird books,... more

We recently stayed at Tan Dinas - a gem of a B&B set in a rural setting on the edge of Betws y Coed. Eileen and John were just the nicest and most hospitable hosts you could wish for, nothing was too much trouble. Our rooms were tastefully decorated and the views to the front of the property were like... more

Anyone "thinking" about a trip to Wales, a hike to Snowdonia, a walk around the Welsh countryside, riding....do it and stay here at Tan Dinas with Eileen and John. The town is idyllic and small, local game, babbling brook, quaint and aesthetic architecture. A train station with a children's station right next to it...charming. Tan Dinas is a beautiful, warm,... more
