We actually ended up booking here last minute, and only chose it as there was little availability anywhere for the 2 nights we needed.... however I think if we had of spent hours doing all the research and reading reviews, we couldn't have found a better place. The setting was stunning, accessible and spotless. Lots of attention to detail and... More

This was our third stay, having visited in June and September 2011. We picked "Tan Dinas" from the internet and couldn't believe our luck. John and Eileen are so friendly and nothing is any trouble. Eileen is good at suggesting places to visit and they all turn out to be great! John's breakfasts are excellent. The spotless bedrooms are tastefully... More

I used to stay as a business guest at this B&B until a couple of years ago when my "patch" changed to mid Wales. I decided to return with my family as they were keen to see where their Dad used to stay. The house and grounds are now finished being renovated and are more beautiful than ever. With views... More

This was our third stay in the "house in the woods", but I am sure it won't be the last as we love coming back. The comfortable and beautiful accommodation, John's delicious Welsh breakfasts and Eileen's marvellous hospitality all helped to make our holiday that much more enjoyable. Eileen and John are a lovely relaxed couple who go the extra... More

We turned up mob handed and late. I was concerned our drive would mean Eileen would stay up late and hate us and that would set the tone of our trip to climb Snowden. But Eileen was more welcoming despite the late hour and set s at ease. Its a fine line between top end B&B and Boutique Hotels that... More

I spent a week with Eileen and John. They are absolutely lovely people and excellent hosts. The place is maintained very well and the breakfast is very yummy. The location is superb; only 10 minutes walk from Swallow's falls and miner's bridge. Eileen and John recommended great places to visit and I truley enjoyed my time. I will stay with... More

We were holidaying in UK from New Zealand and stayed at this B&B. We were really impressed with the cleanliness and the standard of the good sized rooms, in a perfect location. The views were breathtaking (even by NZ standards). The food was scrumptious and the hosts Eileen and John were fantastic. They made us feel very much at home.... More

I was almost suspicious at how consistently well-rated this place is, but having just returned from a three-night stay I can now see why. Tan Dinas is well located, clean, well decorated and well attended. Breakfast was good and bird feeders by the breakfast room windows is a nice touch. The proprietress is lovely, professional, and appears to have an... More

Just returned from a weekend staying with Eileen and John. What an absolutely wonderful place. It is spotless and maintained to a very high standard. The rooms are a good size and tastefully decorated. It is also in an excellent position, lovely and quiet on the edge of the forrest whilst a quick 10 minute walk down to the town.... More
