We had a bar meal in the Tanronnen inn luchtime today that was amazing. Everything was homemade and tasted fantastic. If you go to Beddgelert you can really eat and have a decent pint in only this place. The Saracen's head ale was poor and food overpriced and the atmosphere not good. A really cosy inn in a lovely mountain village. The staff are very friendly, there's a great selection of home-cooked food and the room we stayed in (room 7) was large, warm and comfortable. Having looked at all options for staying in Beddgelert we settled on the Tanronnen and were not disappointed, we'd definitely stay here again.

We weren't staying here this trip to Beddgelert, but had two evening meals here. Specials board appears 7 p.m. - plenty of choice even for a veggie like me! Food is excellent, served hot and on hot plates. Only small grumble is they no longer serve tea or coffee between lunch and eveninbg meal.!
