If this were the nineteenth century, Travelodges would be a rope stretched along a wall over which you would drape yourself in order to sleep. Luckily this is slightly more modern but sadly still manages to instill a soul destroying quality unequaled by any other 'hotel' chain. Staff were friendly and had to be as many guests seem to come... More

We stopped here, with reservations, in August, 2014, as we returned from Dublin en route to London. The hotel was clean, quiet, and well-located within tolerable walking distance from the Dublin Ferry. Services are basic --don't expect posh amenities. There's no restaurant attached, but there was a Chinese restaurant and some kind of pub a short distance away--less than two... More

I avoid Travelodges like the plague as I find they are often tatty and are rarely quiet enough for a good night‘s sleep. I had to book this Travelodge at short notice prior to an early morning ferry trip to Dublin. So this was a nice surprise. I arrived late and the reception check-in was quick, the room was clean... Only thing I'd like to see is a double room (two double beds) where 4 adults could stay, or 2 with 2 children. Service was fine, location excellent for us when traveling by ferry, and rooms nice, simple, comfortable, clean.

the Hotel is well situated near the Holyhead to Dublin ferry. It is reasonably easy to find. The room was bright and clean, the bed was very comfortable so we had a good night's sleep. And we did not hear any traffic noise. - In easy walking distance are local restaurants. We sampled dinner in a Chinese restaurant recommended by... More

stayed here after arriving from Dublin on the ferry getting in at 00:05 in the morning, the checkin was quick and flawless, the room was tidy, the bed comfortable and the bathroom spotless. Had 30 minutes free wifi to check emails etc. It is a pity you can't get a hot breakfast but you can find a few places along... More

An overnight stay at Travelodge Holyhead showed that this company is still leading their business. Refurbished, excellently clean and comfortable, and with staff that smile, help, and are most warmly welcoming. We have found the same high standards throughout the nation over the past 2 to 3 years.

Just used it as a stop over en route to ferry - drive to ireland. Room was clean and comfortable and warm enough. Safe car parking outside. Wifi, free for first 30 minutes the a small charge for 24 hours. Staff pleasant and co operative. Centrally placed location just 5 minutes from the ferry terminal.

a very basic hotel. Bright, clean and freshly decorated rooms with en suite and tea/coffee making facilities, nothing else. Ideally placed for the ferry terminal and free parking. Just what you need when passing through. There are lots of places to eat nearby. You can even get breakfast at the local Tesco store. Certainly suited my needs when working nearby.... More
