This refurbished Travelodge is only 3 minutes by car to the Ferries to Ireland. Recently upgraded with new beds etc. Is a great improvement. Very clean. Helpful reception. Book early and you will get a good price. A recommend

Travel lodge have really got it right, at this moment I only stay at this group if I can. Recently refurbished this hotel is great, and staff just go that extra mile, totally clean and fresh and more than you would expect. I have booked Travel lodge now for almost a year around the UK and get the same standards... More

The hotel met every expectation for a Travelodge- convenient location for ferry port and well maintained room. Free parking. No extra charge for child's bed which was much appreciated. We ate at The Seacroft in Treaddur Bay, 5 minutes drive away in the evening which was very nice. I was a bit disappointed that breakfast was not included but there... More

Typical Travelodge - clean and tidy without any frills. Easy to find as you enter Holyhead and ideal for an overnight before catching a ferry to Dublin. We stayed here on the way out and on the way back from Ireland. You have to walk into town to find food, but they did offer a breakfast package. Parking right outside... More

This Travelodges offers good value and is within five minutes drive of Holyhead ferry. Free parking overnight and comfortable rooms. It is modern and is either new or has been fully refurbished. There was dog barking around 6am when we were there as people tend to leave dogs in cars overnight if they are using the ferry rather than pay... More

The bed was excellent and room very clean and everything first class for money we paid. I would certainly stay again. The only thing it lacked was a cafe to eat. The bed was so comfortable and better than premier inn.

This a good overall, however, basic European hotel. Rooms are small, however, most European hotels are. The couple of staff we met during our two stays, were friendly and efficient. Location to the train station was important to us, and the deciding factor in booking this spot. There are several pubs in the vicinity, however, we arrived too late to... More

We were waiting to take the ferry to Ireland and found the Holyhead Travelodge to be the ideal place. It has a very helpful and friendly staff, who were happy to help with all our needs. It has good parking and is located only half a mile to the port and railway. The town is an easy walk away and... More

Stayed here for 1 night prior to sailing across to Ireland. Arrived on a very stormy night, but were welcomed nicely. On reaching our room however it was not as booked, had booked a twin and were in a double. Went down and saw receptionist and he apologised and said he would sort it very quickly - he did and...
