The usual Travelodge experience. Basic check in and basic rooms and free parking. There is a McDonalds next door and pub just down the road for breakfast and booze. You will be using this for the ferry terminal, which is a short walk/drive away. The Holyhead Travelodge is a dependable choice if you don't fancy using the hit and miss... more

Rooms were clean, hotel well located for ferry terminal, beds the most uncomfortable ever, staff just short of being ignorant, expensive for what it was and where it was. more

stayed here as had to catch a ferry early morning and we were travelling with our dog. the hotel was VERY handy for the ferry terminal - literally 2 minutes away. Checkin was a little slow as I think there was only a couple of staff on - but very courteous and friendly. room allocated was lovely - very cosy... more

we stayed at travelodge in holyhead for two nights whilst we visited friends who live in valley close by. The rooms were excellent and very clean. The staff very friendly and more than efficient in every way. The only draw back to this hotel is that there is no eating facilities on the premises and the breakfast bags are not... more

Accomodation was clean, comfortable and the receptionist should by promoted, if only for her receommendation of "Mala@s Bistro" for our evening meal. We can heartily concur with this. The four of us spent a goo night prior to taking the ferry to Ireland the following morning, only a minute away . We would use it again without any qualms. Thank... more

I've always preferred Premier Inns to Travelodges in the UK, as, although I've always found them broadly similar, Premier Inns are cosier and more comfortable. But there's no Premier Inn in Holyhead, and Travelodge were offering rooms for £29 a night. This must be a new generation Travelodge, because it's rather different from others I've stayed in. I think they... more

Had to stay here as a result of a cancelled ferry. Booked the room over the net the day before. If only staying for one night then this ‘hotel’ is OK. I would not recommend this for more than one night. We stayed in a family room. The room size was fine for two people but you would be very... more

We booked this hotel simply to have a place to stay after crossing from Dublin on a late (midnight) arrival. The major advantages are its proximity to the terminal (perhaps a two-minute cab ride) and the price. Check-in was quick and simple, the rooms are functional (even if somewhat spartan), and we noted no problems with cleanliness or other issues.... more

We stayed at Travelodge this September to attend a family wedding in Holyhead. We had a really good weekend, we found the rooms at Travelodge to be of a good standard very clean and warm. The television is mounted on the wall facing the comfortable bed and had several channels to choose from. The bathroom is more than big enough... more
