The manager was very nice made us breakfast in the morning. Few strange things about the room. There was poo in the toilet on arrival, (Im sure this doesn't always happen) and strangely the shower is in the room so no privacy! So basically the beds are right next to the shower although it did have frosted glass! The top... More

Thank you for your comments. I have checked the toliet (for faults) and I am assuming that another Guest sneaked in there before your arrival and did not flush the toilet correctly. This has happened once before. The large family room is designed for families with children and is not suitable for several adults sharing a room on a budget.... More

Arrived by ferry from Dublin kind of late and Carl greeted us with sunny disposition. Our bath, although exclusive, was out of the room but just a few steps away. Not exactly a issue. The whole building, squickly clean and located a few hundred meters from the shore, provided us, despite the chilly weather (it was june 27th), a very... More

Changed plans meant we needed pet friendly accommodation at 7:30pm. Wavecrest to the rescue. Good sized room with TV & tea/coffee facilities. No en-suite bathroom but sole use of one, very hot water & good shower. As previously commented on, owner cannot cater for all guests expecting breakfast at same time so given time slots to assist. Just negotiate on... More

As an American student in UK, decided to break my journey from Ireland by staying in Holyhead,When the taxi driver in Dublin asked where I was staying,he replied "what you going there for, there is nothing there!" I was a little worried by his remarks. Well if I see him again I will tell him that the scenery is as good... More

Like most folk staying here, we were getting the ferry the following day. The guesthouse is spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. Shared bathrooms though, which didn't cause any difficulties it must be said. The guesthouse is a two minute walk to the sea, and there's a small harbour at the bottom of the road where the local kids... More

Very nice and friendly host, getting up so early to make me a breakfast so that I could catch the first ferry. Really feeling at home. Just next door to the sea! Had a lovely walk there in that afternoon.

Perfect for an overnight stay before getting the ferry to Dublin. Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast. Accommodation a little dated but aĺl you need before a trip to Ireland. Given a helpful recommendation to visit South Stack visitor centre, an RSPB reserve, prior to getting the ferry. Worth a visit.

We stayed overnight as a stopover between coming off the ferry from Ireland that evening and continuing onto England the next. The gentleman who greeted us was very helpful and the full English breakfast provided the next morning was excellent. Overall, we had a positive experience here and thought is was good value

This is a very friendly B&B at a reasonable price. In a good location and accessible late at night (we were given a key to the front door), which was perfect for our late (early) night. It offers everything you may expect from a 2 star B&B; clean rooms, quirky personality, a good night's sleep, a full breakfast and a... More

I feel some of the bad reviews of this bnb don't do justice to this bnb. I got a family room for 3 people and everything worked well, not to mention the full English breakfast cooked by the owner in the morning. Room was tidy and things clean with good Wi-Fi despite me being at the top floor. All for... More
