Very nice and friendly host, getting up so early to make me a breakfast so that I could catch the first ferry. Really feeling at home. Just next door to the sea! Had a lovely walk there in that afternoon.

Perfect for an overnight stay before getting the ferry to Dublin. Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast. Accommodation a little dated but aĺl you need before a trip to Ireland. Given a helpful recommendation to visit South Stack visitor centre, an RSPB reserve, prior to getting the ferry. Worth a visit.

We stayed overnight as a stopover between coming off the ferry from Ireland that evening and continuing onto England the next. The gentleman who greeted us was very helpful and the full English breakfast provided the next morning was excellent. Overall, we had a positive experience here and thought is was good value

This is a very friendly B&B at a reasonable price. In a good location and accessible late at night (we were given a key to the front door), which was perfect for our late (early) night. It offers everything you may expect from a 2 star B&B; clean rooms, quirky personality, a good night's sleep, a full breakfast and a... More

I feel some of the bad reviews of this bnb don't do justice to this bnb. I got a family room for 3 people and everything worked well, not to mention the full English breakfast cooked by the owner in the morning. Room was tidy and things clean with good Wi-Fi despite me being at the top floor. All for... More

Booked when on my way to Dublin. The breakfast is great. I am a veggie and a massive one was prepared for me. My wife had continental with fruit and yogurt etc. Room was comfy and had a great sleep. Nearly overslept! The host made me most welcome. Listed a couple places to eat which is on his welcome pack... More

First impressions are always the longest lasting... And this will last in my memory for a long time. Three adult men, working away from home, booked in to "a B&B" by the office staff; that's us!! We arrive and introduce ourselves, only to be told that the room booked was a family room; two adults and a child!! What the????... More

I am rather upset and appalled by this review. The company booked online for a family room of 2 adults and a child. I have proof of this. Luckily I had an extra single room. There are 2 bathrooms for 3 persons. All rooms have extra facilities including TV etc. The beds have mattress protectors like all other establishments and... More

Just stayed for one night and although I was expecting a basic single room, was surprised that I was upgraded ,free of charge to a large double en-suite. I would not be guaranteed for this to hppen during busy season though! Breakfast was lovely and very filling. Indeed I did not require lunch as I was too full to consume anymore... More

As a couple of itinerant musicians on our way from the UK to Dublin via Holyhead we had mistakenly thought that we were booked in to Wavecrest (our fault). In spite of our late unannounced arrival the owner could not have been more helpful and friendly. The following morning he had already made a take-away breakfast for us before we... More
