My final couple of nights after 3 weeks walking the Coastal Path up from Penrhyndeudraeth, the last day involving catching a bus from Holyhead up to near Llanfaethlu and walking back. Rockleigh is right on the path, so was very handy and is also well-placed for the town. On a higher level than the road, it is a modern detached... More

We were travelling on the Irish Ferry on a Sunday morning and decided to get to Holyhead on the Saturday Evening and stay over.Luckily we got in the Rockleigh B&B.After a 4 hour drive there. We found the house very easily,it's the next street to the ferry.Sylvia greeted us and showed us our en-suite room. We had eaten on the way... More

We arrived after a long journey, and was welcomed to a nice warm comfortable room. In the morning Sylvia made us full English breakfast, which was really tasty. Sylvia Even took our son (10 months old) for a walk around the house while my wife ate her food. Really friendly lady, I would highly recommend. Thanks

We arrived in appalling weather and found ourselves faced with a near vertical drive. We had not asked for a ground floor room as we didn't know they were available and found the stairs very steep.Breakfast was very good and Sylvia could not have been more helpful, helped with our luggage etc.It is very near the Ferry terminal so convenient for... I stayed at the Rockleigh for 3 nights as I was visiting relations nearby. Sylvia is very nice and friendly and attentive to your wishes. I do not eat a big breakfast but if I did her breakfast options were wonderful. I would fully recommend staying at the Rockleigh when visiting Holyhead.

My first time staying here and it is wonderful so very clean and fresh, Sylvia is very helpful and friendly, It has fantastic easy access to the port and the town centre. This B&B is clearly signposted from when you leave the main road the rooms have TVs and Fridges tea and coffee making facilities. ABSOLUTELY MARVELLOUS! Thanks very much.

We have stayed here so often I can't remember how many visits we have made to Rockleigh. As always Sylvia pandered to our every need. Breakfast was very tasty as usual, the beds comfy and the room lovely and clean. Nothing is too much trouble for this landlady. Shame the weather wasn't as good as it had been for weeks... More

This is a great B&B with an easy walk, less than five minute walk of the ferry terminal. Very comfortable and the breakfast was great too - sausage was tasty. Handy if you are getting the ferry early.

Basing ourselves at Rockleigh for a long weekend break. From there we could easily access everything: ferries to Ireland, public transport to the rest of Angelsey and North Wales as well as walks along the famous breakwater in Holyhead and coastal walks to South Stack lighthouse. Rockliegh itself is warm and comfortable with more than enough to eat at breakfast... More
