I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and also send clients, visitors and company staff to stay. Last week having booked the one night - weeks earlier, I arrived on a cold, wet, dark wintry evening and was given one of the "annex" rooms (Room 18). The staff (as ever) were polite and welcoming at reception.... More

We stayed in this hotel after arriving in to Holyhead on a late ferry from Dublin and we really enjoyed our stay there and would definitely use it again. We had three adults and two kids aged 7 & 10 and the rooms we got were really big and very clean. They also do a good breakfast.

Firstly the positives, our room was lovely and clean, bathroom was clean. Nice shared balcony. Pleasant greeting from the dog at reception (hope her paw is better). Lovely watching RAF jets fly past. Helpful and pleasant waiter in restaurant on sunday evening. Now for the negatives, felt some staff were uninterested, not very helpful. Food quite dismal, I was actually... More

Arrived at 21:00. They told me as the hotel was full I was staying in the Portacabin in the Farm Yard. Still charged me the £70 per night. Same rate as a hotel room. They did supply me with a flash light to get to my container! Tried to check out a night early and because I hadn't given them... More

Went for a walking weekend with friends end of September 14 great place with very helpful staff good walk along the beach saw lots of wildlife. A lot of their fresh food is from their own allotment which is overlooked from the dining room so you can see your salad growing as you eat it. One niggle the Welsh sausage... More

Had to book last minute, but no problem with getting a room. Check in was quick and easy and the room was very comfortable with all the usual extras, tea, coffee etc. Food in the bar was excellent with great service, breakfast in the restaurant was equally good with plenty of choice. Check out was quick and efficient and the... More

I enjoyed a comfortable stay after being given a family room for the price of a twin for just 2 of us as they were all booked up! Plenty of room, clean and we loved the excitement of hearing the nearby RAF base doing 'manoeuvres' or whatever the correct term is? Friendly staff in reception and dining areas, very tasty... More

The room was very nice, with access on to a shared featureless balcony, a few flower pots would be good. Careful not to look into other rooms, you never know what you might see! Room 12 is above the kitchen and at about 06.20 what sounded like an extraction fan fired up a ran at a frequency that gets inside... More
