A good value no frills pub for a quiet lunch in very pleasant rural surroundings. We have visited on many occasions and there has never been any problem getting a table and service was quick and efficient. Plenty of car parking.

Had an evening meal here on a short break to Llangollen. A pub so spotless you would have a job to find. The staff very friendly and obliging, the guy that served us had to have the patience of a saint as he was dealing with the fussy family from hell on the table next to us!! He didn't bat... More

I booked this for a group of friends on a walking break. The accommodation is good and very well priced, the food and service were excellent. Ann was most helpful and accommodating and turbned out to be a lovely host. The only disappointment was that there was no real ale (it had run out) and that was one of the... More

Had stayed here many years ago. With fond memories stopped on the way to Conway for something to eat and drink. The service was excellent. It was very quiet and they were soon to close after lunchtime but it was no trouble to provide some freshly made snacks. The ham sandwich which came with lovely chunky chips and some salad... More

I went there for an evening meal with a friend. We only live a few miles away but never been here before so thought we'd give it a try and boy, we were not disappointed. The first thing that strikes you, is how friendly and pleaseant the staff are. Granted, it wasn't overly busy there but that proberly had something... More

We've just returned from a lovely weekend at the Britannia. It was our first trip to the Llangollen area and although the weather was rubbish - the Inn was superb! from the moment we entered and were given a warm welcome, the whole experience was wonderful. We are both quite tall so the walk along the low corridors to our... More

Just returned from Sunday lunch at the Britannia Inn. Excellent! Both my wife and I enjoyed a 3 course meal ( she the chicken me the beef) and found all the courses first class complemented by the pleasant surroundings and the attentive staff. Well Done Britannia Inn

We went to the Britannia having had a recommendation locally and viewing the menu on their website through Tripadvisor. It wasn't a particularly busy night as there were only another 2 tables in when we went but the atmosphere was friendly, as was the service. This is good, honest pub food with good sized portions of tasty home cooked food... More
