I stayed with John and Heather in early January. Their welcome was very friendly and they provided me with an excellent meal despite my arrival on a rather bleak, wet and windy night being an hour later than planned..... They have a great house and I had a very comfortable bed, so slept very well. Breakfast was good too. They... More

Glasgwm is an old house full of old furniture, which would delight anyone interested in antiques. It's a rambling house, and the ground floor seems to have one room giving way to another, over and over. I had a single room, which came with a fine cast-iron bath, instead of a shower, so I settled down for a long soak!... More

Walking Offa's Dyke I stayed in Glasgwm one night. A top quality value for money B&B in a central location which is unique in décor, with quite 'extravagant' furnishing, but very homely and cosy. A lovely cup of tea and cake on arrival and watching the chilled white cat, I almost fell asleep before I got to my room! The... More

During our Offa's Dyke Path walk John received us in a lounge full of books and nice photographs of the area hanging there . On top of that an excellent bed in a nice ‘Thai’ room looking over a garden at the back, ample (fair trade) coffee and tea facilities, and one of the better breakfasts with a lot of... More

Visited this charming B&B for the second year running & it didnt disappoint again. Its ideally suited for the centre of llan & in particular the railway, which i visited. Very keen prices for a place thats not cheap & i had the same delightful single room. John & Heather are superb hosts & they cant do enough for you.... More

We recently returned from our third stay with John and Heather at Glasgwm ; each visit has been an unalloyed pleasure: every one of the three different bedrooms in which we have now stayed has original ( but not pretentious) Victorian/ Edwardian fixtures and fittings - completely in character with the house itself ,and the rooms unfailingly comfortable, warm and... I have stayed in Glasgwm B&B several times and all those stays lasted at least 10 days each. If you are looking for a friendly, welcoming and cosy place to stay, this is the location to go to. During all my stays John and Heather made me feel extremely welcome and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them.... More

The day we stayed at Glasgwm B&B was one of our wettest days on the Offa's Dyke path. So we were delighted to see John arrive in his Citroen Berlingo to collect us from the meeting point at the bottom of Castell Dinas Bran. Both he and Heather were really lovely people - very easy to get on with and... More

John and Heather made us very welcome, and John showed a knack for anticipating your needs before you did. That's hospitality of a very high order. We were on a walking holiday on Offa's Dyke, and felt very welcome at Glasgwm, finding it a good place to have a break for a day's relaxation before continuing our walk. The room... More

My husband, college-age son and I stayed at the Glasgwm B&B for 1 night last month. It is located on a street with many B&B and no street parking. As there appear to be no address numbers on the houses, we drove right past it and had to find a place to turn around and go back. Somehow they were... More
