Just returned from Cornerstones, stayed in the river room with a view of the roaring Dee and the biggest bathroom ever! As we stayed with friends it meant we had the whole building to ourselves, it is gorgeous, old beamed building furnished beautifully. Every night they lit the wood burning stove so it was cosy when we got in. Breakfast... More

We have just stayed in the Townhouse for 2 nights and what a fabulous weekend we had. The whole house - thats right you get a house! is spotless, you get a lounge with kitchen diner, that is stocked with everything you need to cook etc and also biscuits, cakes, jams, sauces, tea/coffee, milk in the fridge, cereals.. super. In... More

We stayed in the suite which is a real haven with a private courtyard garden overlooking the River Dee. The Duke was elected equipped....very close to the town centre but quiet and relaxing... A real find and unusually for us we will probably return

You get the best of both worlds here - self catering without the necessity to book a whole week, and with breakfast if required. Excellent location, good décor. We loved the roaring of the Dee through the Velux windows, and the view. Stairs a challenge after a bottle or two over the road at the fantastic wine bar!! Only drawback... More

Stayed at Cornerstones for 1 night over the August Bank Holiday weekend. This has to be one of the best (if not the best) B & B's I've ever stayed in. We had one of the rooms on the front overlooking the road. On arrival the landlady gave us a car park pass which allows parking at any of the... More

Stayed in the room overlooking the Dee. Biggest bathroom I've ever seen with a roll top bath. Absolutely fabulous. Staff very welcoming and friendly and the breakfast was something else. Can't wait to return, thanks to everyone involved. I'd give 6 stars if I could

We stayed in the suit, well a little cottage really. 1night Bed and Breakfast, you can even do your own dinner in your own lovely little kitchen. The best bit for us was the surprise summer house downstairs and then an area so private with a lovely table and chairs where we enjoyed a bottle of wine before popping out... More

We loved our stay here. We stayed in the town house, as we have 2 children. They loved it. It is a really good location, close to town. The beds are really comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped. We had breakfast provided, which they brought up to us. There was free Wi-Fi, but we couldn't connect to it, unfortunately. We had... More

We stayed in the Suite, which is the ground floor of a townhome. The front room is a living room with a couch, chairs and a 2-person table. Breakfast is served here via staff access from a steep stairway down to the basement. The bedroom with a dressing vanity is in the back, witha window overlooking the River Dee. The... More

Stunning place and views, amazing bathroom. Very homely, love all the candles and log burner on in the evening. Quiet lounge, only shared with one other room. Made very welcome, nothing too much trouble. Convenient, central location. Parking permit given for choice of several near by car parks.
