Although in a lovely setting, the hotel was seriously sub-standard. The rooms were shabby, dusty and very poorly equipped. The food was dreadful and the staff not particularly friendly. The rooms are above the bar area which was unbelievably noisy until very very late. On Saturday night a singer with all his gear was belting it out until 1am even though there were only half a dozen drunk people in the bar. It was so loud, the glass in my windows was vibrating. They seemed to have very little regard for their paying guests and by the end of the 2 days, I felt distinctly ripped off.
