We stayed on 17th an 18th of march. Location was fantastic. It was very easy to book. Amy and Katy were very helpful. The lodge is a truly lovely building. But the whole place needs a little tlc. It needs a deep clean and some minor maintenance but who would let that spoil such a lovely place. Can't wait to... More

Unless they change the double bed/mattress in the chalet - I would not recommend going. I think I have been generous by rating this average as we didn't get much sleep because the mattress was so soft and lumpy (it had ridges, so it had either previously been on a slatted bed or it was just so old), on a... We had the misfortune to opt to stay at The Horseshoe Pas Holiday lets just before New Year. The accommodation, although large, felt rather dirty and unloved. The kitchen was disgusting and cold & we didn`t entertain trying to cook in it. The furnishings were extremely poor ranging from a faux peach coloured leather sofa covered in a dirty cotton sheet... What a place! We have visited twice in the last two years. Both times were fantastic but this year we stayed in the barn, this was actually reception the last time we came and what a transformation it has had. From the minute we opened the door and stepped inside we were blown away. The high beamed ceilings and homely... More

This was my first vacation at Horseshoes Pass and it did not disappoint. The Property was very comfortable and clean and contains everything you need for your stay. The views are spectacular and if you enjoy outside activities whether it is cycling, walking, white water rafting etc. this is the perfect location. Llangollen is vibrant and the pubs are very... We stayed in The Chalet Fri 24 Oct for 2 nights. It is fairly basic but has everything you need as well as glorious views and walks nearby. There is even a pub at the bottom of the short hill - what more could you want!

I've read many of the reviews, including Phil's replies, which do make me smile. But actually some of them had good points about the quality of the accommodation before Phil ripped their reviews to shreds. The main selling points of this place are the location, the views and the walks. It's a really beautiful part of the world. It was... More
