My friend and I took 2 rooms here recently . Welcoming and helpful woman standing in for the owners who were away . Clean easy to manage and good for those with dogs. ! I did not mind the decor which is a bit OTT and not my taste but so what, it's all done with good intentions and a... More

I stayed here whilst walking the Offa's Dyke path. It was the furthest side of Llangollen from the path but this didn't really matter and Dave gave me a lift back to the path in the morning. This place certainly has character! Not the wallpaper I'd pick for my house but oh well :D There were a lot of dogs... More

Thank you for your review and glad you enjoyed your stay. We did have a few dogs that weekend due to the amount of walkers who came. Our Wallpaper in most of the bedrooms at the moment is from Laura Ashley and hope most people find it okay. You are most welcome back anytime. More

My husband and I stayed with our little dog last month for a two night stay. We have mixed feelings about this little find thou on the whole not too bad a stay. We used two rooms as the first one room 4 had a lovely view of...a brick wall! They very kindly transferred us the next night to room... More

Apologies for the sense of humour greeting and I will certainly be having words with the person concerned if this meant downgrading your response. We do advertise as pet friendly and try to live up to this unlike a lot of other establishments but do not want to be pigeon holed. We are not breaking any health and safety rules... More

I have just returned from an excellent stay of 5 nights at Hillcrest. Trisha and Dave were so welcoming and friendly and my dog was made welcome too with treats for him every morning. My treat in the mornings was a really good breakfast with full English , cereals, juice and toast and more on offer. Hillcrest is so near... More

What can I say, We booked a 1 night stay here with our 2 Huskies and from stays at other so called "dog friendly" accommodation, we weren't expecting too much. On arrival we were handed our keys and told to make ourselves at home, there are no restrictions on the dogs (as long as they don't eat the two resident... More

Stayed here for a total of 6 nights over 2 weekends to attend the Mega Steam Gala at Llangollen Railway. Excellent room with plenty of warmth, which had a nice view of Castle Dinas Bran. A very good breakfast and a lovely couple in charge. And also a front door key to come & go as much as you like.... More

Stayed in September with some friends, warm welcome and rooms are clean and tidy. Full English Breakfast was ok but does not come with any beans and the sausage was dreadful, cheap and tasteless, which is a shame given the rest of the B&B is of a good standard for a budget stay. Showers are good and very clean, we... More

This a vindictive remark from a man who for the days stayed here wolfed down his sausages without complaint and made no change requests for breakfast which you were informed of on your arrival. Beans optional and you saw being served on the next table and not automatically put on a plate as not everyone wants them. Broke the new... More

We stayed here on 24/25 August with our two teenagers and dog. Great to find a place that welcomed dogs and was able to accommodate us all in one room. It could not have been better.
