What can I say, We booked a 1 night stay here with our 2 Huskies and from stays at other so called "dog friendly" accommodation, we weren't expecting too much. On arrival we were handed our keys and told to make ourselves at home, there are no restrictions on the dogs (as long as they don't eat the two resident... More

This guest house was close.(a few minutes walk) to the event and was warm and cosy on a mostly cold and wet 3 days. The owner was friendly and helpful and breakfasts very filling..We could come and go as we pleased and would... Stayed here for a total of 6 nights over 2 weekends to attend the Mega Steam Gala at Llangollen Railway. Excellent room with plenty of warmth, which had a nice view of Castle Dinas Bran. A very good breakfast and a lovely couple in charge. And also a front door key to come & go as much as you like.... More

My husband and I stayed in March with our dog for two nights, we had a great time and we were made to feel very welcome from the moment we got there. This was our first time away with our dog in a b&b type setting and our dog was made to feel just as welcome as us.breakfast was lovely... More

Stayed in September with some friends, warm welcome and rooms are clean and tidy. Full English Breakfast was ok but does not come with any beans and the sausage was dreadful, cheap and tasteless, which is a shame given the rest of the B&B is of a good standard for a budget stay. Showers are good and very clean, we... More

This a vindictive remark from a man who for the days stayed here wolfed down his sausages without complaint and made no change requests for breakfast which you were informed of on your arrival. Beans optional and you saw being served on the next table and not automatically put on a plate as not everyone wants them. Broke the new... More

We stayed here on 24/25 August with our two teenagers and dog. Great to find a place that welcomed dogs and was able to accommodate us all in one room. It could not have been better. Location was just right - central, but on a quiet road.- with its own car park. The owner was so welcoming, helpful and full... More

We found Hillcrest on a previous visit to Llangollen and booked to stay there on our recent visit. It was great. We were made very welcome on our arrival and throughout our stay. Hillcrest is a few hundred metres south of the town centre, up a short hill, so very convenient for walking into town for meals, sightseeing and the... More

Stayed at hillcrest with my husband and 4 kids and had a fabulous time, with Trisha & Dave making us feel very welcome. Rooms are lovely and spotless and the living room and pool table were fantastic with the kids. Breakfast was great with lots of choice and again breakfast room was spotless. Just a short walk to the town... More

Really sorry if you found a hair on your plate, first time in twelve years and wished you had mentioned it to us at the time. Our cat lives in our private accomodation but sometimes will be cheeky enough to come in the front with guests and not to our knowledge but you know what cats are like. The cat found... More
