This hotel overlooks the River Dee and is in the same block as the canal and the steam train. Quaint hotel with a lot of character and a friendly bar/ restaurant. Everyone was very friendly and hospitable.

When I checked the room I wasn't happy with the standard of cleanliness. Very dull and dreary room. Food at night in the restaurant was very average, I had steak and chips but they put salad on my plate which I didn't ask for and I had to remove it and clean the oily dressing off my plate. The steak... More

I was in Wales with a large proportion of my family for a wedding and stayed at the Bridge End Inn. This hotel was at best an average one. The room was very basic with little room to move around in. The wardrobe space was minimal and storing bags was not easy. The shower was weak. The power was not... More

A group of 10 cyclists from Peterborough CTC stayed at The Bridge End over the May Day Bank Holiday Weekend. The rooms were ideal for our purposes and reasonably priced, including an excellent choice for breakfast. Food in the restaurant was simple, generous and inexpensive and there is good beer available. However, the hotel's greatest quality is the warmth of... More

Our first visit to this place and decided to eat here. My partner ordered chicken kief and i ordered the rib eye medium to rare. When my partner cut into her very small kief it was totally hollow. Just a small breadcrumb crust with very thin layer of chicken inside. It was returned to the kitchen and a different dish... More

Room was good and clean, best location to stay in Llangollen. Had little trouble with parking but it was probably due to very busy Easter weekend. Hot cooked breakfast was excellent. We had dinner at hotel, it was very nice. Only downside was the room, we had the room on backside of the hotel so no view. The decor &... More

I visited the Bridge End Hotel on the 26th and 27th March 2015 for evening meal and on both occasions was very satisfied. My first visit had been last Autumn, when I was doing some walking in the local area. On all occasions I have gone for the trout with baked almonds, accompanied by vegetables and salad, together with a... More

Stayed for two nights, not the best hotel I've stayed in, really it was one of the worst. The hotel is catered for the walker, or dog owner, Mostley Middle aged men was there. Room was cold ,no heating on at all, until I had to go and ask in the bar, and then I had to go and find... More

Visited the Steam Railway Event and stayed up towards Horseshoe Pass. We were just looking at the outside menu when a friendly chap offered comment and suggested coming in to see the Specials Board. He won my attention so I checked there were Real Ales on the bar and we went in. I wish I had got his name, seemed... More
