A great pair of hosts in Jane and Mike. They welcomed us for an overnight stay and were so welcoming. A cup of tea and biscuits were provided as we checked in. They were so friendly and the room was very comfy. The bed was the tallest I have ever seen, but sooo comfy. A great sized bathroom with a... More

Thank you for your most positive review. It is very kind of you to spare the time to lavish us with your kind words.I am however puzzled by only 4 out of 5 for service. What more could we have done to gain the much desired 5! More

Lovely warm welcome with fantastic hosts. Bed was big and comfy and bathroom superb. Lovely plentiful breakfast. Very very nice place. Also dog friendly as they have a friendly cat and dog. The lady of the house was so kind and gave us a lift into the town. Breakfast served in a very nice conservatory with spectacular views.

We stayed while doing the Offa's Dyke walk. We were lost at the Abbey and Mike kindly picked us up. The dinner was fine, with complimentary wine. The internet is not good in that area. Their B&B is in a lovely location, with a dining area in a conservatory, a beautiful dining room.

We stayed here as a break from travelling from Holyhead. The proprietors were very welcoming and accommodating, especially towards our elderly mother. It is ideally situated beside the canal, where we enjoyed a very pleasant pre-breakfast walk. The food was great with a wide variety of options and we were seated in a conservatory with spectacular views. Will definitely visit... More

We stayed here for the HOG circus maximus rally. Mike wasn't to sure about bikers but hopefully we changed his mind. Bryn Merion was everything we needed, comfortable, friendly, excellent breakfast and we will be more than happy to stay again next year.

We stayed here mid July 2014. Great views over the Shropshire union canal and the river Dee. Recommend walking the path beside the canal into Llangollen and also upstream to the canal beginning. Pontcysyllte aqueduct is near by which is a world Heritage site. A lot to see in this very scenic area of Britain. Hosts are very helpful, thanks... More

Bryn Meirion is a mile outside of Llangollen, though this doesn't matter as the Mike & Jane are happy to provide the taxi service into town. We were walking the Offa's Dyke path and found this a very restful B&B. Our twin room had a third bed in it which was great for all our gear and a lovely wet... More

We enjoyed our week's stay during the International Music Eisteddfod. We were welcomed and enjoyed tea, coffee and biscuits. Mike and Jane were friendly and asked about our preferences for breakfast time and choice of food. Our room was very comfortable and a lounge was also available for guests. The breakfast was very hearty with plenty of variety. The views... More

This is a nice B&B a mile from Llangollen town centre. The host provided a lift to town and back to the trail in the morning. It has a breakfast room with views over the valley and the canal. Good food, nice hosts. On the downside: could be cleaner. Off the Offa's Dyke. 2 km back to the path, but... More

Thank you for your review. It would have been helpful to let us know what improvements in cleanliness could be made.We are surprised you gave us only 3 out of 5 for value. You used Contours Walking Holidays to make the reservation and the price we quoted was £35 per person bed and breakfast. That is a reasonable price for a double ensuite... After a very long a wet day walking we arrived to a warm welcome at the Bryn Meirion.
