We stayed at the Druid Inn in May 2014 whilst walking Offa's Dyke Path. My room named Dwyfi was nothing short of a box room. At £55 it was a total rip off. The senior staff one welcoming the other disinterested and cynical made my stay a bit of a trial especially as my background is In the hospitality business.... More

Stayed here while doing Offas Dyke path (some of it!). The room was comfortable and had a great bathroom. The owners were very friendly and very helpful. Food was good although the menu was a little daunting as there was so much on it. Having said this, the wide choice seemed always to be available.

We only dropped in food and review reflects this. Great food lovely venue. We had the 8oz burger 8oz steak and the home made steak pie. All were fresh very delicious, hot and accompanied by a nice pint!! My only gripe is it is expensive us having to pay 65p for onions on a burger seems a bit steep! However,... More

This place is good value for money and the food was excellent. The room was a bit on the small side but as we were only staying one night this wasn’t an issue for us. Host were friendly and we very much appreciated the lift back up the hill to where we had left the Offa’s Dyke Path the previous... More

Stayed here many years ago and recently returned for a couple of nights. As remembered this is a lovely place with a warm and friendly welcome. My room could not be faulted and spotless , with an amazing large bathroom! Ate in the restaurent and the meal choice was varied and excellent when served. Friendly staff and locals make this... We have a caravan near the Druid and had not opened it up so as a surprise I booked in for one night to have a relaxing start to the next day. So glad I did. We have ate and drank here many times and always had great food and service, se this time. Room (recently refurbished) was clean and... More

I am surprised by the rave reviews that appear here, but perhaps staying in the hotel results in a different experience from popping in for a drink and some food. The pub is old and quaint, and has good outdoor seating. The bar staff were efficient but friendly isn't how I would describe the person who served us. There is... More

A good hotel made into a great one by the staff. Couldn't be friendlier, nothing too much trouble. My family were made to feel completely at home. The food is of a fine quality too and with good sized portions. The locals are fine and friendly too! Some of my family stayed here for quite some time (weeks) and came... More

I recently stayed at the Druid Inn for two weeks and then two separate weeks. It is a lovely old pub with a definite country local feel but at no time did I feel like an outsider. From the moment we arrived it felt like we were staying with friends. The staff, and especially the owners, went out of their... More

My partner and I were looking for an inn with roaring fires, good traditional ales and good food. We were not disappointed! The food here was fantastic and portions were of a very good size. All the staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Our room was lovely and although a little small this is expected in an... More
