Stayed Saturday night only the room was excellent and all staff very friendly, when we arrived into the room it was a twin bedded room, rang reception and they sent along two ladies to make it into a kingsize bed both very friendly and no problem at all. We didnt expect anything special at breakfast after reading a few entries... more

We have visited The Quay a number of times and every room has been of a consistently high standard. Rooms are spacious, stylish and practical, equipped with a small fridge and a good quality hairdryer, and the bathrooms are gorgeous. The pool, sauna and steamroom are brilliant (I think it may be 15metre pool) sometimes it gets busy, but I... more

The Quay Hotel was a joy to stay in for our weekend break. We booked last minute as I was going to be buying a car in the South of Wales and we thought we would make the most of the bank holiday weekend. I got a reduced rate of £109 (rooms are from £185-£235 normally and various websites still... more

Our stay was incredibily relaxing and stress free from the moment we walked through the door. All the staff were friendly and extremely helpful, from checking us in to making reservations for restaurants and taxis, nothing was too much trouble. Our teenage boys enjoyed the gym and spa and were particularly impressed by the fitness instructors. The hydro therapy pool,... more

I spent three nights at The Quay with my octagenarian great auntie as a treat for her. We were treated impeccably and the whole stay was great. The rooms were stylish and well-maintained - everything was spotless. I was particularly impressed that my auntie's room, which was a disabled-person's room, was just as luxurious, albeit with the necessary adjustments to... more

Mrs Scotty and I splashed out and booked a suite. We had a wonderful view over the river from the top floor balcony. The suite was spacious, the bed nice and comfortable and the bathroom was fitted out really well - except for one thing. Who stole the door? When you entered the suite the toilet was straight ahead of... more

Stayed one night over a bank holiday when it was surprisingly quiet. Hotel is part of a new development by the Conwy estuary which was all a bit Stepford wives like - all perfect but a bit soulless. Outside the hotel looks a bit municipal - nothing to make it stnad out from anything else. Check in was easy in... more

Stayed here for a two day romantic break and was not dissapointed. Food was great and the staff were very freindly and helpful. This hotel is situated a little bit out of Conwy however the location is in a very scenic area and the view of the sunset is not to be missed. Made use of the SPA and it... more

Stayed in this hotel for Valentines night and was not dissapointed. The staff were amazingly friendly especially including the front desk staff and the waiting staff in the restaurant. The front desk staff went out of their way to accommodate us letting us book in earlier than permitted. The location is fantastic situated in a nice harbor with a nice... more

This is my third visit and having not reviewed it for 14 months thought it deserved a new review. After my initial visits when this was a relatively new 5 star hotel I was of the opinion that this was not 5 star but a nice 3-4 star hotel. Has my opinion changed? No. And why…. Let’s get this straight... more
