A friend and I stayed in the Bleu Room (twin beds) for two nights. We did not meet Monica but agree with every compliment paid to Colin--he was a thoughtful and caring host. Our room was bright and charming, with two windows (one with a view of Conwy Castle), very comfortable beds, really lovely bed linens, and fluffy towels. The... More

I (31) and my girlfriend (26) stayed here for a weekend in April. We were very lucky to have the Rouge room on the top floor; a large stylishly decorated room with an excellent bed. It has a large ellegant en-suite with roll-top bath. All of the rooms are adorned with charming little antiques and beautiful furnishing, without being at... More

Stayed here on impulse after reading so many wonderful reviews on the site. We were lucky really as there was just one room available, the Olive room ,the only room which isn't ensuite. However this was no problem whatsoever, with our own bathroom directly across the small landing.Everthing we had read about the accommodation met and exceeded our expectations, from the warm... Imagine dreaming of building and operating the perfect B & B, sorry Monica and Colin have already cornered the market. Simply the best from the Rouge room to the breakfast room and oh yea don't forget Monica and Colin. The definition of efficient, gracious and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Arrived by car at the small town of Conwy- first day driving on Left side of road. Colin was so nice to offer to park the car (drive it and parallel park at a spot he knew of)! They also have wonderful breakfasts (try the Welsh Rarebit), and the fridge in the room is a welcome ammenity. Colin even provided... More

Our 1st trip to the UK - we're 2 Seniors who were making our way around the UK - and relying on public transport (mostly trains). Colin especially helpful - found us a Welsh Male Choir who were performing @ a nearby church, arranged for the taxi to get us there - an unforgettable evening. Also helped us figure out... More

We stayed at the Gwynfryn for four days in March, choosing this B&B as our central point for exploring North Wales. Here, the room and breakfasts and accommodations simply could not have been better. Colin was incredibly gracious -- providing everything from great breakfasts and evening restaurant recommendations to ensuring that we could get a parking space; nothing was too... More

You couldn't ask for much more staying here. They're very good at accommodating to your needs and very thoughtful in how they run the B&B. After our delicious breakfast (the best we had during our entire trip) we made sure to get some good, local advice about transportation and Conwy/Snowdonia National Park. I'd recommend this place to all my family... More

Colin and Monica are super helpful. Breakfast was very good. The rooms are decorated so that you really feel you are staying in someone's home. My only complaint is the decorations are so plentiful that there isn't a lot of space in the bathroom and night stands where I like to stash items. It is fun to stay right in... More

It's our 5th time here in 3 years. Colin and Monica are outstanding hosts and the rooms are quite magnificent. Nothing is too much trouble for them and if you have a dietery requirement this is the place to stay. Every time we go, it feels like you've arrived. "SIMPLY WONDERFUL" Gill & Neil Cheshire
