The Gwynfryn Bed & Breakfast was our favorite place to stay on our three week trip to the UK. We stayed in the Rouge room on the top floor. The roll top bath was wonderful to soak in after long days of sightseeing, and the shower was very nice as well. Our room was sparkling clean and had many small... more

My husband and I stayed at the Gwynfryn B&B in late May, 2009 and were absolutely delighted with our visit! The owners/hosts, Colin and Monica, were warm and gracious - without being intrusive - and were extremely helpful. The breakfast was delicious and made to order and was served in a bright and cheerful dining area at our own table.... more

A wonderful place to stay in a beautiful part of the world. Everything about this place is just right, including the wonderful owners, Colin and Monica. We were on the top floor but luckily Colin is a lot fitter than us and literally ran our cases up and down as necessary. As the place is slightly difficult to spot from... more

A beautifully decorated, warming and welcoming home away from home located inside of a medieval walled town. Lots to do and see. Colin and Monica to keep you fed and comfortable. "The" place to stay in Conwy. more

We have stayed with Colin and Monica before and the three of us enjoyed it theni. This time we went with our new addition and Colin upgraded us without any hesitation or fuss to their holiday cottage what a lovely place. The decor is so tasteful in fact Monica you have given us some ideas for our place. We will... more

This is a great B and B. Colin and Monica are the best - very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent - but Colin's porridge (oatmeal to us yanks) was the BEST ever. No clue how he does it but you owe it to yourself to try this. What service - from helping me find a parking place to carrying... more

Cant say much more than other reviewers have. Monica and Colin are delightful. Rooms are so pretty and spotlessly clean. Breakfast great. If I had to find something that wasnt perfect, I would say that the local seagulls are very loud - but even then, Colin and Monica think of everything - complimentary earplugs (in every room) saved the day.... more

While traveling alone in the UK I decided to visit Wales and happened on Gwynfryn B&B in a guidebook. The visit was one of the best B&B experiences I've had. The owners were friendly and sincerely helpful, and made me feel right at home. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast in the morning was delicious! I'm already planning my... more

Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated room. Very friendly hosts, we felt welcome and at home at Gwynfryn. Very good breakfast, it filled us up until dinner. Set within the walls of Conwy, very close to the castle. Wonderful area to explore, with Gwynfryn a good place to come back to relax afterwards. Parking was a little bit of an issue... more

This is our 5th re visit in about as many years and we feel it is quite simply home from home now and more than just a bed and breakfast. Set in the centre of the beautiful fortified town of Conwy this B & B hosted by Colin and Monica have together created a wonderful guest house that my wife... more
