First impressions were great hosts who were very engaging, genuine and took pride in their establishment and service. The bedroom was decorated in a way that felt homely (cushions, throws, ornaments etc.) with extra touches like champagne flutes and wine glasses plus a little fridge to keep wine cool. Variety of hot drinks, biscuits and lollies offered. In the ensuite... more

I arrived at the Gwynfryn Bed & Breakfast on my Birthday and a birthday card was waiting when we arrived. The owners were very friendly and were a great help when my partner got stung by a bee. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was great and the view from the Rouge room made this the highlight of our holiday.... more

Monica & Colin do a fantastic job in maintaining very high standards we stayed for 3 nights in the rouge room ...what a fantastic room and all the little touches that you dont get from a hotel chain. We really enjoyed our stay at Gwyfryn. This B&B is quirky, but is beautifully appointed, is as clean as anyone would wish, and the excellent service from Colin and Monica caps it all. We will unhesitatingly recommend Gwynfryn to our friends and relatives and, of course, we will stay here again next time we visit North Wales ! Chris and... more

My wife and I stayed at Gwynfryn b&b for 5 nights and found it to be an outstanding b&b. The breakfast was first rate, the room was very clean, cozy and comfortable, and Colin and Monica were very helpful. And Conwy was a great location to make day trips around the North of Wales. When we return to Wales, we... more

We found the greatest bed and breakfast in North Wales - after our stay, we would make the town of Conwy and staying with Colin and Monica at Gwynfryn a dedicated trip by itself. We felt very welcome, they had great knowledge of the area and the B&B was charming more

The Gwynfryn is conveniently located in the middle of the walled town of Conwy, which was great for us since we didn't have a car. We stayed in the Rouge Room, which was nice and big and had a large washroom. A word of warning to tall travellers however, the ceiling in the stairway up to the room is quite... more

We arrived in Conwy just before the TI closed and they were unable to help us find a room for the night but did provide a map with B&B listings. With some serious trepidation about finding a good spot, we set out and began knocking on doors. At the second B&B we arrived at, we were greeted by the host,... more

The service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble.. The food was pleniful, well prepared and well presented, and available during a good time span in the morning. The room was warm, well serviced with tea, coffee and television provided. The location was central but quiet and very convenient for Conway`s amenities such as shopping centre , castle and harbour. more
