I am quite amazed at how many bad reviews this place seems to have. I arrived in Conway last weekend as part of the Pirate festival. Although staff were sometimes very busy because of the festival I have no complaints. I ran out of tea and sugar and milk and all I had to do was ask for more, these... More

The pub was filthy, the landlady sarcastic and totally unprofessional, the whole building smelt of dogs and my colleague actually had a flea on his jacket after putting it on his bag on the floor when he checked out. Our Saturday breakfast table had not been cleared or cleaned by Sunday morning and we paid £130 a night for two... More

We went to Conwy on the bank holiday weekend and did not realise that there was also a festival in Llandudno which meant that accomodation was hard to find. We were told about the George and Dragon by the Tourist Information and after trying a couple of other places were relieved to find that they had a room. We were... More

Visited here on Monday lunch time and ordered the special homemade Thai Chicken Curry and have to say it was very nice. It was served with rice and naan bread and it was all served nice and hot and presented very nicely Will be returning

We stayed one night were requested to pay £65 upfront and were NOT given the opportunity to see the room first. This did not bother me at the time as I had phoned various other B&Bs and could not find a Room so felt I had no choice. Lady took payment and gave us keys, did not offer to show... More

Did not stay but ate had dinner two nights. The mussels were not as good as at home (much smaller and thus less juicy) but well prepared, generous portion and nice baguette came with. Nice that they had my favourite pint of bitter (old speckled hen). The next night had steak and ale pie. Like most these day they use... More

OK we did not eat here but popped in for a few drinks. Manager ( I assume) was friendly and service excellent. Saw food coming out of the kitchen and wished we had not already eaten. Looked good old fashion pub grub. Will defiantly try the food next time. All I would say is " it's a pub that sells... More

Our family had a meal here on Wednesday shortly after 1:00 pm. A sign told us that meals took longer than usual as each was cooked fresh. We took this as a good sign and ordered. Approximately 55 minutes later our food arrived and it was not much to write home about. During this time we heard numerous comments by... More

Food here is cheap but unfortunately nasty too. What's worse is they call themselves a real ale pub but managed to run out of cask ales. A sign of poor management. Kitchen staff were having a blazing row while we ate I've never been in such a poorly run pub Cheap but in now way cheerful
