Just got back home after spending two nights at The Lodge, can only say that the staff and owner are all very friendly. Food was excellent evening meal and breakfast where both most enjoyable. If your looking for a base to see the sights of north Wales look no further, also try the local butcher very good meat and pies.... More

Afternoon tea here was a complete delight. Afternoon Sandwiches - mixed - scones, cream, jam, bara brith (the real stuff) and then beautiful homemade cakes. The coffee cake is to die for! Re-fills of tea and coffee - no extra charge. Fantastic welcoming staff and a glass of champagne for an extra £2.50! Eat your heart out London Hotels. This... More

We booked a room through bookings.com the room price stated 120pound for a family/executive room. When we went to pay the owner charged 145pounds, when we asked about this he said that because we had 3 it was 25pounds extra. The booking site stated "room price " not per person, we have booked many hotels with bookings.com and it is... More

These customers booked a room at my establishment with a reputable booking agent "Booking.Com" whose reviews can be seen by all. The terms and conditions are clearly stated on the web site. This customer should have read the terms and conitions. This room is set up as family accommodation and is clearly priced for two adults and two children or... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Lodge in North Wales while visiting Great Britain. A beautiful location in the Conwy River valley with great views close to beautiful village of Betws-y-Coed and the town of Conwy, where we toured the fabulous medeival village and castle. The proprietor and staff were most pleasant and provided assistance... More

When booking this venue I was told that it was possible to have a slightly cheaper Bed and Breakfast if I took the option of an Evening Meal for the price of £18. What actually happens is the Evening Meal costs you the full price which is added in on your Invoice. This was a ploy to make sure your... More

I took this customers booking. I clearly advised that the deal included an £18 per person evening meal allowance, anything more than £18 per person was chargeable.Only this and any drinks consumed were added to his bill. I can not undedrstand that if this customer felt that his bill was inaccurate, why he did not dispute this at the time... More

A huge THANK YOU! to the proprietors of the Lodge Hotel Tal-y-Bont and their staff for their excellent service and support during our stay and on the evening of our parents Ruby Wedding Anniversary party. The buffet provided was of excellent quality, good value for money and well presented. The function room was spacious and decorated beautifully. The cleanliness of... More

We booked 2 nights at The Lodge to use as a base for the weekend and upon our arrival were greeted by very pleasant, friendly staff. The family room we had booked was very clean and nicely appointed with enough room for the four of us also far enough away from the main part of the hotel so that we... More

We were really well looked after at The Lodge - the rooms were very nice, staff incredibly friendly and still smiling first thing in the morning. We had dinner and breakfast there and the food (and wine!) was really good. We stayed in the cottage which was really well kitted out - could quite happily have stayed longer.

Recently stayed in a family room at this hotel with my husband and three month old baby. The staff were very friendly and I hate to criticise a family run establishment but I feel that I have no choice on this occasion. Our room was incredibly cold and we woke up each morning of the two days that we stayed... More
