if clean and tidy is your thing, this might not be the best place for you. The house is lovely situated outside the village of Abergavenny and at the edge of Brecon Beacons National Park. I feel a bit guilty having to leave Pentre Court a less than positive review as the owners were such lovely people, but I want to be honest. We got this place out of the Lonely Planet Wales guide - it was under the mid-range section so thought it would be acceptable for a couple of nights. It was almost... more
Was disappointed. The house was dark, full of junk and clutter and smelt of mothballs. Some of the breakfast cereal was, I noticed from its packaging, considerably past its use-by date. more
Very welcomming B&B in a lovely Georgian house just outside Abergavenny. Superb hosts, large bedroom with views over the countryside, comfortable bed and a fine breakfast to set us on our way in the morning. more
