We were very pleasantly surprised by the location. The hotel is situated in a very picturesque part of Wales. The rooms were clean and well- equipped:the beds very comfortable.
We didn't eat at the hotel, apart from the generous breakfast, because we were exploring the area.
The staff were friendly and helpful. A great base for touring the surrounding beauty spots more

Plus side, the restaurant does a great range including veggie and it's very good value, very good tasting, the room itself was spacious and had character, plenty of parking.

On the minus side, I'm sure the bathrrom is cleaned from time to time just not sure what with...the cups in it still had the remnants of the last user's toothpaste (UGH!). Shower was very grubby. Breakfast greasy and the orange juice was fermented.
The pub has no atmoshpere and around the outside there are discarded rolls of carpet and other toot. All this for £60!

If you're after a slap up meal I'd recommend the Rock and Fountain. If you want somewhere to stay, keep driving.
